Gayle....I believe Stella and Leroy both said that the seeds they shared were from Blue Satin ROS. Your pictures are all lovely...really like the Pampas Grass.
Angela...that is a great hummingbird photo! Glad you shared it...it is just fine to borrow pics from the internet if you don't have your own. We all love seeing them.
Great to see so many stopping by and commenting. Thanks. Charlene

Cardinal Flower and Hibiscus I don't have many pictures this week. Will have to go out and take some more.

Beautiful, Sandy! My profusions have been pulled out because they all had foliage resembling the dusty Miller you posted (they were covered in powdery mildew). Seeing Melissa and your Cardinal Flower make me think that I need to start some. Gotta run and write that down before the thought passes...lol. Thanks for sharing and glad to hear you are getting some much needed rain. Charlene

Nice pictures here. I haven't forgotten you folks but last night between 12 and 1 I attempted to post a picture or two but all I got was the spinning. I nearly broke out in a cold sweat having TOH flashbacks. Anyway not got time right now. Heading out the door to work. Hopefully tonight I can get something stuck in here.

Steve...I had the spinning thing once last week and had the same flashbacks as you did. I closed out...came back...and all was fine. I think either my computer or the board had some gas...lol.
Gitti...those flowers on your sister's balcony are gorgeous! I see that the love of flowers must run in the family. Thanks for sharing. Charlene

As usual, many beautiful pictures from our talented gardeners!
Gitti, your pictures reminded me of the fantastic flowers I saw the last time DH and I were in Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. It seems every home had window boxes filled with beautiful, colorful arrangements. The vegetable gardens were impressive also. One of the hotels we stayed in had their own vegetable garden and even serve fresh vegies for breakfast. Loved it.
Thank you again, for this wonderful thread!
Joyce

The flower photos are so pretty. I really enjoy looking at them and not just once. I attempted to post a picture last night but PB jyst would not let me in. Maybe next time but tonight is the closing ceremony for the Olympics and I am cleaning out the play house to day. a a
