Been out to feed the birds, haven't seen any this morning all must be sitting on eggs. Not much is going to happen today, I have been busy for 2 days and now I'm not going to do much. But I know Ray has mapped out a few sales, like we really don't need any more to sell. Would like to work in the yard a little today, have lots to do. Then rain coming in for 3 days don't give a lot of yard work time. I know what is for supper tonight so thats a plus. Yesterday wasn't really a bad day, just busy. We did sell another coffee table yesterday that was good, I don't think much else sold. Ray cut grass last night and I worked in one of my flower beds, didn't get very far it was cold. Did some dusting and a few dishes then I washed the Chicago series, but I fell asleep when PD was on.
Lair, Would you please send me some cinnamon rolls, they sound so good. I didn't know soaking your hands would help with camps. Thats when I usually get them washing dishes. Hmmm.
Linda, You English muffin bread sound good also. No hummers here yet, usually see them about May 10.
Leroy, Very sorry for what you have been going thru. You need to do some searching for your med's, the cancer society should help or put you in the right direction. My DS when thru breast cancer twice and ovarian cancer and got help thru some grants. Help is out there just need to find it.
Carolyn, Have a fun day.
Mary, Good news with Hudson and Valeria. Nice looking blanket.
M/M, Good morning, it was cold last night.
Connie, No one but you will know the quilt will be a little small, is that the word I want. It will be find and be welcomed with open arms.
I have some tulips ready to bloom, the deer haven't found them. I have put fencing all around them then heavy sticks on top of the fencing. I have to do that with the hosta's next. About May 15 I can take them all down.
Have a great day.

Good Morning. The sun is shining bright and it is 52 degrees at 9am. It isn't getting real warm today, I think they said 65 would be our high. Carol, I would be glad to send you one of my rolls but after I ate one I froze the rest. They are real moist this time because before I rolled them up I grated an apple over them and a little nutmeg. The filling stayed real moist. I checked my sugar level after I had one and found out I can't have one very often. I got several plants out yesterday and will make an effort to do the same today. It isn't warming up real quick so I can take my time. First I will take the ones out of the garage and then the Greenhouse. I did get the big Yucca plant out of the dining room and on the south deck. That was a big job and took all the breath I had. It is 4 feet across and just a little taller than I am. Wouldn't have been such a big deal if I didn't have to work around the oxygen tube. It ended wrapped around the plant when I went back in the house. I kept busy yesterday but late in the day I got very lonesome. I had defrosted a pork steak and cut the bone out of it for Brody. It wasn't until I finished I realized he would not be wanting it. I didn't watch the Chicago shows but my mind was not on them. Although it was the second time I had seen them I can't remember anything except the Police part. I did sleep good last night. Leroy, I hope you can get insurance figured out. Seems like every time I do they change everything. The wound clinic, at first they didn't want to pay for that, Then they did so all is well. Now last Friday I got notice they don't want to pay for bandages from the wound clinic. I'm just ignoring the bill because sometimes they will bill me twice and then I never hear from them again. The oxygen machine they are paying for now but they are billing me for the fittings that go from the machine to my face mask. They will get some common sense sooner or later, at least that's what I am hoping. You all have a good day and enjoy the spring weather.

Good morning. 56, going to 62, with showers possible and 20's for wind speed. We could have rain all the way through Sunday. Temps after today in the 70's. Maybe Spring will stay for awhile.
PT has been put on hold till I see the Pain doctor. That's on May 7. Tylenol seems to help as much, sometimes more, than the Trammadol. Guess I can hold out till then. I asked the benefits person about the insurance. She said should be the $4500.00 a month for a year, and then it would be renewed for the next year. That's good. Cancer results were pretty good. A few counts were off, but that happens when you first start this medicine. I've been off it for almost a year. I go back in 3 weeks.
I hope you all have a good day. I hear it sprinkling against the window just now.
Leroy

Good evening. I didn't sleep well last night...(too hot in the house) then when I did get back to bed I finally went to sleep about 1 AM, so needless to say I got a later start today than I had planned! Got the bed sheets going right away and mainly sat in my chair as I just did not feel that good. After the sheets, I got a load of my clothes washed and dried. By that time whatever was ailing me went away and I got busy curling my hair...it turned out pretty good for a change!
We had some rain this morning...since we no longer have a rain gauge, I am not sure how much we got but I don't think it was a lot. Supposed to get more tonight, possibly some strong bad weather, can do without that!
After the rain stopped and the hair was presentable, I went to the fabric store for some backing material. Found just the right one right away and it was 108 inches wide. The clerk helped me figure out how much I needed and also included enough for 4 1/2 inch strips for a border as well as enough for the binding. I HOPE I did not mess up as I cut an extra 4 1/2 inch piece....if need be, I can go get another small cut for the binding. I think I will be alright since I had her add 2 inches due to my tendency to miscut things!!!! Ahem! It took me about 2 hours to add the border and pin it to each 3 inch block all around but it really sets off the quilt now. I think it will end up 92 x 96. She looked at the chart and the length was 96 for either a queen or a king. DGS is 6'4", and he had an extra long bed but got rid of it and went to a queen. I have an idea that they will eventually go to a king so I wanted it to be large enough to be able to transition to use on a king if need be. Now I have to press the backing and repress the quilt and then it can go to the quilter tomorrow (If I get that done and if she is home when I call to tell her I am coming!) Feels like a giant relief since the border really frames the quilt and now I am excited to get it done!! Those wide cuts are nice but expensive....$20+ per yard but if you stop and think, 108 inches is 3 yard wide and about 4 yds long so about 12 yards for $87. It is special for a special guy so I have to do whatever it takes!
Since I was running so late, we went over to Arby's and had sandwiches and mocha shakes. My sandwich was too big so I hope it makes a decent breakfast tomorrow.
Leroy, I hope they get your pain in control and figure out what works best for you to take. Like I said, I have had Tramadol prescribed for me and I didn't think it was very effective.
Lair, that is one humdinger of a big plant...it would wear anybody out moving that thing! Too bad there isn't something you could wear to drag that oxygen tube around so you don't have so many problems with it...you have to have it!
Carol, hope you found some goodies at the sales. I thought I saw a Gsale on my way to the fabric store so I turned off to go to it on my way home...it was a real estate sign with an arrow that looked like a Gsale sign from the main street so I had a tour of that neighborhood...no sales in this area today. On my way there I saw some beautiful pink tulips...looked so springy!
MaryB, I bet that blanket is really pretty! At least the picture of it looked very nice to me! Our daffodils were a bust with the late cold weather...I think we saw a total of 3 blooms. I think a lot of the plants were confused with the weird winter weather we had...90's in February!
Hoping I sleep better tonight but it is chilly so the house hopefully will not be as warm as last night! Wishing you all a good night!
