Good Morning everyone. It is sunny here and 43 degrees headed for upper 60's for a high. I don't have much to say today. Only thing new is I made 6 loaves of bread and a dozen Cinnamon rolls yesterday. Spent last night soaking my hands trying to keep the cramps out of my fingers. I guess it was working the bread dough. Today the fingers are just sore muscles but sure it will get better. I will stop back later when I need a break. I hope everyone is well and you all have a good day.

Good morning, Lair and those who follow. After a High of 92° yesterday, have a chance of thunder storms and 79°today. Would sure like one of your cinnamon rolls, Lair….i need to make English Muffin Bread. This has been a week of doctor’s appointments so nothing exciting. Have been watching the birds and looking for the hummingbird. For some reason the pigeons have left the safflower seed feeder but that is fine. Wish I had one of your beautiful birdhouses, Lair! Hope everyone is having a good day.

Good morning. 57, going to 76, partly sunny and light wind.
PT yesterday was not fun. Never put on the leg. I had so much hurting, that Darren tried several things to see if they would help. Even a vibrator!! on my back. I cried the last part of the time. Then I had to go to the bathroom, which I never have to do. There were 15 minutes left, and I told him I just couldn't take anymore. The nerve on the back of the leg would keep sending hard pain to the absent foot-kind of like a vise clamping down. I didn't sleep much last night - every 10 - 15 minutes, I had to pee, and then was having a hard time getting it started. I use a 28 oz urinal bottle, and by the time 8:30 am got here, the bottle was full. I took a Trammadol tablet at 11:pm. but it only lasts a couple hours, and I'm not supposed to take them too close together, so I waited till 10 am, then took two Tylenol. It lasts about as long as the Trammadol.
Today is the cancer doctor. Have a few questions to ask, including the funding for the medicine. It's been approved by the Leukemia Association, but I can't tell if that was for one month or that much ($4500.00) for each month. It's a very expensive medicine. One month of it and I will be in the catastrophic stage for medicines.
I need something more cheery to talk about. The Vinca Vine in front has several blossoms on it. I'll have to have Adam look at the tulips to see if they are blooming yet. They are a late blooming variety.
Hope you all have a good day.
Leroy

Hello to all, I have been to Aldi. Wanted some more of the kraut they have that comes in jars. I only spent 41.00 since I will be leaving next week. I don't want to have a lot of things for now. It is beautiful weather. We got a sausage biscuit on the way. I am going to work on the afghan some more. I will be leaving tomorrow to go to my cousins. Will get my oil changed on Friday afternoon. I hope that all works out for you Leroy. My DH took don't expensive med 12 years ago. Thankfully he had military ins. Be back later

Good afternoon all. We went for early breakfast and then I went to get my haircut/perm. We went shorter, and bigger rods. I'll see how this round goes. I need some more breakfast as I only ate a cinnamon roll at the cafe. I got the blanket done about 12:40 last night. I didn't even start working on it until about 10:30. Here's the final product. I know why I don't make granny squares, too many tails to work in, and also to pop out again. It was hard to get laid out on the carpet. The boarders are better but still not to my liking. I had a text from Bryan this morning that Hudson had his spinal tap and chemo appt. today. He's already done. He did great. His counts were a little high but that's a good thing. He had a rice krispie treat in his hand in one picture, and then daddy had to go get him some CheezIts and a strawberry lemonade. Bryan sent a little 10 second video of Hudson practicing his joke for preschool the next day. His joke was: What do cows do on Friday night? They go to the MOOvies. OMG!!! Dad jokes at 4 yrs. old. Leroy, Wow, I hope they can figure out a solution for you. I was looking into that Signal Relief patch as a possible way to help my daughter with her pain from her immunotherapy meds. It was $179.95 and dropped to $149.95, and last like a year or more, but it also has a 45-day satisfaction guarantee. I saw they were also giving a 10% discount on a first order. Also, do on-line searches for that expensive med. Valerie had a couple meds that were really expensive, but there were sites were she could sign up and get the same med for $10. Do the searches because there could be something out there to help you out. Well, I need to get some dinner. Update: I normally never wash the blankets I make, but this one had so many tails, I wanted to make sure they stayed put. Nope, it was a mess. I tucked a bunch in and then gave up. I usually leave a 2.5-3" tail, so I just snipped off the little ends that were sticking out and took a crochet hook to the longer ones of an inch or more. It definitely shed also as I had to chase some pilling. I'm definitely not making another one like this.

Leroy, Sounds like you need some blood work and checked for a urinary tract infection. Just suggestions from the nurse coming out in me! Hope you get some answers very soon.

Good Evening!! Another busy day done. Got everything done. Not sure if it was good news from the Dr. or not. Need to check MyChart. It was rather cool but colder tonight, I'm sure the big fans will be running tonight to keep the apple blooms from freezing.
See you in the morning.

Today was a good one....I think. I got the quilt top finished (84 x 90 I think. Was supposed to be those measurements but I have not measured it as yet). Called the quilter to advise I will bring it Friday & asked her opinion of a Queen quilt measurements...said she gets a lot in that are 90 x 108...if so, I am way short!
I am so sore tonight. I am wondering if I also may have some arthritis or some such fun thing as well as these joint issues. Feel for you Leroy as those nerve pains are bad. I have taken Tramadol and to me all it does is make me sleepy...my opinion, not many of them really work.
I will quit complaining and say good night!
