Good Morning!! We had rain overnight but just wet the blacktop on the driveway. Its 50 and the high should be about 62. Today is busy hair cut, oil change, store and if I can fit it in just a short stop to see the 2 DGGS. Just going to stop and say hi. I hope to get home before the storms about 2pm. Not going to do much before leaving, did what I wanted to do and thats about all this morning. Yesterday was a good day with Hazel, she was a little tired, but once outside it was good. After lunch I helped Ray pick up branches that he cut a while back. Washed a load of dark clothes and hung them outside, thats one good thing about the wind, it drys the jeans fast. After supper I went out and started on another flower bed, got it half down, the other half is the hardest.
Leroy, Sure hope the pain is going away. I also have 2 DGGS, I don't see them as often as Hazel, not me doing this.
Jan, Funny!! Logan works long hours, Hazel goes to preschool 2 days a week and Ashley workes from home. Most of the time the kids are in the house and just use the trailer for sleeping. Hazel sleeps in the house, with cameras with noise? showing Ashley if she wakes up. This way it won't disturb Michelle. It will be OK for a few months.
Guess its short this morning, have a wonderful day.

Good Morning. The sun is out and it is 56 degrees already. Not going to warm up much and then down to 23 tonight but after that our night time temps should not drop below 39 for the next month. (If they are right) Yesterday we got up to 70 degrees. Sounds great but Mother Nature had her leaf blower going full blast. I went out to the mail box and that turned out to become a problem. My wind breaker blew up over my head and the velcro pocket cover caught in my hair. I could not see or get it out of my hair without dropping my handful of mail. I slowly made my way back to the house with my limited vision. Once I got to the house I laid down the mail and was able to get the velcro out of my hair. All turned out well except there is not as much bangs left on my head. It will not grow back at my age but won't change much just the same. In the future I may not venture out when we have 50mph winds with gusts. Just have a few things to get done today before the rain moves in this afternoon. Not much to do outside. Tomorrow I will start taking plants out of the garage again. You all have a good day.

Good morning. 59, going to 68, with partly sunny sky. Little windy during the day, but supposed to calm down by tonight.
PT this afternoon. I have the gel liner on that goes into the socket, and keeps the leg on. It kind of numbs my leg like it went to sleep. I have to be careful about walking when I stand up. Takes a few seconds for the sleepy feeling to go away.
Not much else going on. Tennis tournament started in Spain today, so will watch some of that.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Leroy

A quick good morning. Carol, 40* here, 7:30, going up to 72* later. The sun is shining tho. A very busy day for you. Nice to have the little ones in your life, so refreshing, although could be tiring too. A good tired though. No outdoor clothes line here and boy do I miss that. Do have a rack that I can put out on the patio in the warm weather. Not in the last couple of years, too much smoke in the air. The fires have already started, going to be another not very relaxing summer. I do have alerts on my phone and iPad, already had a couple this year. Keyscar, enjoy your lunch. Good for you to take someone along with you. Company. Lair, glad that trip to the mailbox turned out ok, but could have been a very different experience if you had fallen. Wicked wind. I’m sorry and I shouldn’t say this but I will. When I reread your story of your trip to the box, I had to laugh, the picture in my mind. You must think I’m an awful person. Leroy, hope the PT goes well. Sounds like the pain has left you, if you are able to use your new leg. Have to make that Costco run, then back home to do what? Lots of choices here. Tomorrow I might not be here. Two appointments that day and they’re rather long ones. Bye for now. Jan

Good Morning All. Just checking in. I just got home from my yearly physical. I gave them my tubes of blood for testing and off I went.
I really need to get after hubby to get the lawn mower ready. Everyone else has mowed their lawn. I dug all the dandelions yesterday.
I worked on the blanket yesterday, and by last night I was one side from done and looked at it. OMG, the edges wouldn't lay flat. I had put an extra stitches in the join areas. CRAP! I ripped it all back out and wound up all the yarn into a ball. I did like how it looked, so I'll just re-do what I had done, which was only a row of single crochet and the last row was a half-double crochet.
Leroy, I hope you have a good day at PT.
I'll check back later.
Got my lawn finished finally. Went out to mow and it started raining (actually was slush landing on my coat); I parked the mower. Looked out, no rain, went back out, started raining again after just two passes as the sun is shining. WTH!? I parked the mower again. I just finished what took me maybe 10 min. max. I was soaked after the first two tries. I should go work on the blanket.

A late stop by. It has been a long day. I didn't get started until late. Did some cleaning chores around the house & front porch, argued with DH regarding his slipshod cleaning methods, & finally got started on the quilt about 12:30! I only got 2 rows done today but was hurting in the shoulders, hip & back from the cleaning chores. I sewed both quilt strips together so I am now at 12 rows done...this now leaves only 3 more rows to do and sew that strip onto the body of the quilt! You may hear me yelling HURRAY when that last thing finally happens!
I am tired of cleaning up after the robin that keeps trying to build a nest on the light by the door out of the bedroom! I tied a strip of cloth around it and a wad of newspaper behind it but the strong wind knocked the newspaper down so DH tied it down with that stip of cloth. No mess today so maybe it will work!
Lair, glad you made it safely back in the house from the mailbox but, if you read it back afterward, (Jan)the mental picture is funny.
Leroy, glad your pain is better and you were able to don the leg, at least for a while.
MaryB you probably have that blanket done by now. I am sure whoever gets it will be delighted with your work!
Carol, hope you had a great day, out and about.
We had our 3rd rerun on the Zuppa Toscana soup tonight and tonight was the best! I had added a couple more cups of chicken broth and that did it! Hello to everyone else. It's after 10 again and this old lady is tired (what's new about that?).
