Good Morning, A beautiful morning, the sun is bright and no wind (right now). Its 36 and the high should be close to 60. This morning I'm going to see Hazel a short trip as she is at Michelle's. Ashley and Logan sold their house, so will be staying at Michelles' until the house they want come up for sale, I hope its a short stay, they are in a travel trailer, close to the barn. Not going to the store today, will be going tomorrow along with a few other stops. Getting the hair done, oil change, and store. Of course its to be stormy and windy. I plan on working outside a little today, Ray is going to be cutting the front yard, he did the back yesterday. I didn't do much yesterday, I have a slight problem and it was bothering me yesterday, did get the sheets washed, fixed a big dinner, pulled a few weeds, cut down my Russia Sage, did a sweep job in the mud room. Wow did I ever sleep good last night.
Judi, I see where you have been on, but no posting?
Lair, I think we all have those long days, I understand about missing Brody it will take a long time. Weather is crazy warm for a few days, then cold for a few days and of course the darn wind. I don't understand why we have been having so much wind.
Carolyn, I so enjoy High School bands, went to football games just to hear the band. Michelle and Ashley were in the band. You could go and enjoy.
Jan, Why is it? Always putting little things away. I too am getting a smaller tree this year, but bigger then a table tree. My secure just came on, will be back.
Not sure what was going on, everything is good.
M/M, Poor little girl and yes don't walk along the highway. Granville is closer to me then you, must be a great Church. Anne likes to talk?
Linda, No hummers here yet, I haven't seen or heard a Oriole either. Late for both. I did have 5 male yellow finches at the feeder yesterday haven't seen that many in a few years.
Mary, Cafe dinner sounds good, especially the pie.
Leroy, If the recliner gives you relief from pain, stay in it, even sleep. After Rays heart surgery I think he was in the recliner for about 6 months, even sleeping. Pills aren't helping?
Guess that is it for now, have a great day.

Good Morning. The sun is out and iit should get to 65 later today. The temp is the good mood but the bad news is the wind will be blowing at 40mph with gusts up to 50 something. I will not be going out till Wednesday. Today is the wind and Tuesday will be rain all day. Sounds like Wednesday will be the first day that will be pleasant. I didn't do much yesterday besides playing with plants in the green house. Charlene came over late yesterday and brought over some left overs from her noon meal. Taste good to eat some food someone else makes. Not sure what I will be doing today. there is a lot I could be doing but I just don't feel the motivation. I hope everyone is enjoying health today and can enjoy the weather. Later...

Happy Earth Day everyone. Looks like it might be a fairly nice day today--still a bit windy but when I opened the patio door a bit this morning the air felt pretty nice. You know the saying "slow and steady wins the race"---well that's been me. I got energetic the other day and got all the fans and lights dusted, then the next day I "rested" :). Now this morning I need to strip the bed and get those downstairs for the laundry lady HA HA.... I've finished my so guess I'd best get the laundry going and get my stair exercise in for the day. Have a great day everyone and enjoy this nice weather.

I'm here. It was 37 this morning and a little frost. I have my heat on low. I had a little visitor earlier, but he was tired. I got up at 3 and put a small pork roast in the crockpot. Then at 8 put barbq sauce over it. Smells good and I actually ate some of it, Will portion and freeze the rest. Jan, the afghan is for my youngest DGS. He chose the color paddy green. Green has always been his fav. color. He said it is the "Hulk" color. Carol, my DS band is rock n roll. They are playing next weekend with Faster Pussycat band. Take care. My arthritis is alive and well this morning. 🦋🦋

Good morning. 60, going to 76, with partly sunny sky; some wind now for the next few hours, then calming down.
Strange night. I went to bed at 8 pm - just couldn't keep my eyes open. Awake at midnight, on the computer for awhile, leg was hurting, so took medicine, and went back to bed at 5 am, woke up at 8:30 am. Leg is better now, but took Tylenol at 9 am, should be good for awhile. I do sleep in the recliner some, only when I can't sleep in the bed. I nod off quite a bit when I'm watching the videos on U-Tube. I have a belt that I could use to strap myself in to the wheelchair, but when I'm at the computer, I would just fall forward onto the desk. I usually have the brakes locked on the chair, so it doesn't go anywhere.
Carol, so glad you have so much fun with Hazel. Don't see much of my two grandsons - one here in the western part of the city, and one in Alabama.
Carolyn, I've never thought of putting BBQ sauce on a pork roast, until we have leftover pulled pork. Have to remember that for next time.
Lair, good that you have the greenhouse to spend time in. Pretty relaxing, I would think.
Judi, slow and steady sounds good to me. If the leg ever gets over the pain, I will do dishes again. When I lean forward to get the dishes out of the dishpan, it presses on the nerve on the backside of my leg, and hurts too much.
Hope you all have a good day.
Leroy

Checking in. Had my mammogram this morning, came home and had my breakfast, watched my videos, and now gonna go work on getting more tails weaved into my blanket. It got to dark in the living to do it last night. I got everything done around the outside edge, but now I need to work on all the tails in the center. I don't like knots, but I have 2 tails that come together at each intersections of the rectangles, so I kinda felt knots will give the blanket more stability. I'm still thinking about the outside border. I may try a few different ways to see what I like best, but first things first.
2:30-Ends are all weaved in, the dandelions are all dug in the yard, the Schwan/Yelloh man was here, and I got to eat some Espresso After Dark ice cream. Now, here I sit to rest for a few minutes and then will go look at the boarder of the blanket. I know the first round or two will be the dark green so no hard decision there. I was also thinking of putting a round of each color I used as part of the boarder. I'm still thinking on that because I'd have to tap into new skeins and I really don't want to do that if I can help it.
Well, off to do whatever.

Good afternoon all. Carol, yikes, living in a travel trailer with a child would be rather dicey. Hope the stay isn’t too long and they are able to move into the house they want. Lair, having a greenhouse to play around in sounds like a fun pastime. Having someone else do the cooking for a change is nice too. DD2 is cooking for me on Thursday. I can hardly wait, both DGDs will be there, as well as DD1, who will come a bit later, as she’s working. Judi, you sound just like me. I overdo one day, have to rest up the next. Keyscar, arthritis is sure no fun. Nice to see the little one every few days. I bet you’re noticing many changes as he grows. Leroy, sorry to hear you’re still having pain. Wish they’d get you on the right track to better health. Bwatcher, you’re just about finished that afghan, have you got ideas for the next one yet? DGD was able to take everything yesterday. Yay! Only, DH forgot to give her the remote for the stereo. Will give that to her on Thursday. Went out for few groceries this morning, seems like we do that every few days. Have to make a Costco run tomorrow, forgot to put a couple of things on my list last week and ran out of them this weekend. Bah. I’m sure getting forgetful. Jan

A very late good evening. I should be in bed as I am tired. Did a little cleaning in the main bathroom, then got busy on the quilt. I now have 10 rows done and 5 more to go. Then it will be to the fabric store.
I did a recoat/touch up on the painted items today, then swept the deck...It was a mess from wind and leaf debris!
Taking this old lady to bed now! Good night!
