Here the sun is shining and it is 50 degrees. Looks like it will be a nice day. I am so glad to see the sun after all the gloom yesterday. What made yesterday worse was the fact it weemed 40 hours long. I felt so lonely and every commercial on TV was about dogs. It should get in the 50's this afternoon but down to freezing again tonight. After that I think I can start bringing plants out of the garage again. I'll have to check the guessers forecast again and then hope they are right this time. I just need to remember it is still April. My tomatoes are already 6 inches tall and the hyacinth beans are almost double that. Not sure If I dare to plant them in the ground yet. I think I will take a walk around the yard if it gets close to 60 later. Leroy, glad you got some relief from your pain. I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all. Leroy, hope you’re on the mend, the pain must have been awful. Lair, the days seem to drag by when you’ve got things you want to do and are unable to do them. Sounds like a much nicer day, today. Enjoy. Keyscar, we’re staying in today too. It’s beautiful out there but still cold, 55* and not going to get much warmer. Is the Afghan for you or for a gift. Happy crocheting! Puttering around here today. Lots of little things to take care of. DGD1 will be here later this afternoon to pickup some stereo equipment (her guy likes to tinker with them), and the large Christmas tree we only used one year. It was just beautiful, but a lot of work to put up, just too hard for us old folks. Bought a tabletop one. I think that’s the last of the big stuff in the storeroom. Well, back to puttering. Hi to everyone. Jan

Carolyn, I have always thought how fun it must be to play in a band!
I just saw a couple walking by out on the road. They were pulling a child's wagon. The couple had on warm jackets and hoods and standing up in the wagon was a little girl who looked to be about four.she was sleeveless! It is 48 degrees, cold wind. Brrr. Bet she will be sick tomoŕrow. Busy highway as well, I would not want to walk along it.
Anne and Dennis just stopped by on their way home from church in Grandville.long way to go to church. She brought me a nice cup cake from their pot luck.
Lair, you must be lost without little Brody. Did he love company?
Jan, your grand daughter will probably love having your beautiful tree@
Anne was here last evening for a couple of hours. She is in to crocheting now. So we had a lot to talk about. Err, I mean she did. Lol
I have already had a nap so guess I will get back to my book. Stay warm, everyone. M.

Good Afternoon…..actually has been a quiet day but a great afternoon….a hummingbird found our feeder on the porch and has been here twice in the past hour! Crazy starlings have finished another suet feeder and the little finches are happily eating away on theirs. Hope everyone is having a good day too.

Just checking in. I just finished attaching the last panel of the blanket, so it is now one solid piece. Next, I have to weave in a whole bunch of tails, and after the tails will come the boarder. I'll have to go looking for a boarder to put on this blanket. As I said, it's a one-of-a-kind. I think I'll type in 'boards for granny square blankets'.
We went down to the cafe for dinner and had 2 big meatballs with gravy, candied carrots, Oreo fluff, and a piece of cherry pie. I definitely won't need supper.
Well, off to look for a border.

Hi, everyone. Thanks so much for thinking of me. I'm late getting here. I didn't get much sleep last night. I couldn't sit in the wheelchair very long, and I couldn't stay in the bed very long, so I spent most the time, including till just now, sitting in the recliner. I'm feeling better right now, so wanted to come here for a bit.
It's 62 right now, and sunny, but the wind is supposed to pick up this evening.
Gotta go. Adam has supper ready.
Leroy

Good early evening!! Been somewhat busy, but was it ever cold out, the sun was nice that wind was nasty again. First thing this morning I had to look for the paper that had the date on it for when a person is coming to get and fix our lawnmower. As long as I had all the paper work out I decided to finish, threw lots away and filed some, none didn't file, put in the file holder to file later. That was pretty much my morning. I have done a little yard work, washed the sheets and put outside with the wind, didn't take long to dry.
Guess that will be it for now.
