A quick good evening. I did say I would be back later but I'm not sure where the day went because I really haven't achieved much. I did get cookies made this morning - the first in a long time. For the number most recipes produce, it's quite a bit of work but tasting one when they were done, it really is worthwhile 😋 .

Gayle, I think you are right on the seller not wanting to give out his address to someone he doesn't know, but I sent a private message. There was no other way for me or anyone to meet up with him without him sharing the address. I guess he could have brought the chair in a pickup since he did say delivery was possible for an extra $50. It just all seemed odd to me on the comfort level. Once I considered the rest of my issues, I couldn't meet up with him. I messaged him this afternoon and told him it wasn't going to work on our end. I didn't want him waiting around thinking I was still going to meet up with him. There was no need for him to give me his address after all. I do wonder, though, how anyone will see the chair to buy it if he isn't forthcoming with his address. Also, if he did meet us with the chair someplace, how could we test the chair to see if it worked? I'm content with my decision and DH isn't fighting me on this, which surprised me. Mac was 4 years old in November. It feels crazy that he is almost 4.5 and will be 5 before we know it.
I suspect, Bet, that you are right about this being T-ball that Mac will be playing. DSon set up a tee in their backyard and said that Mac makes pretty good contact with the ball. I guess from him telling me he did that, the next logical step was for them to get Mac involved in T-ball. I just didn't consider it. He didn't care for taekwondo, so maybe baseball will sit better with him. We'll see.

Gayle, I guess I'll find out how much damage they had next Sunday when I go for the baby shower the other gkids are doing for oldest DGS and his GF. When DS#2 texted I didn't know how bad things really were there and he only mentioned the car. I rarely hear from oldest son but his wife didn't mention it when she replied to a text about the baby shower. I've seen hail, but nothing like that and never that kind of damage. Some of the photos I saw online looked like a winter ice storm. It was hot here so even though spring is when hailstorm occur it just seems strange that it can be cold enough in the clouds for them to form. Most of the hail I've seen has been small, looking more like sleet than golf balls like this one produced. I saw headlines that said Charlotte had tennis ball sized hail but I didn't see any photos of that.
