Anyone else have to agree on something before getting on the post? I have started a load of laundry and having some coffee. I realized it is less than 3 weeks for me to go to SC. Guess I need to get busy on afghan, would love to finish it before I leave. It is chilly here also, 49' Guess I will work on that afghan. đ»

The sun is gone for now. I don't know if I will do anything outside today I will if I can get out of the wind. Looking for something Wednesday I found the tulips bulbs I couldn't find. I will plant them today if I can get out of the wind. I know they won't bloom but at least I will know where they are. I'm planning on planting them along the garage, where a lot of my spring bulbs are. The rest of the time I"m guessing I will be inside. Yesterday we did go back to the Estate sale and Ray brought a few things at half off, wasn't far from home, then when to the booth to finish what didn't get done Thursday. Did a load of dark clothes, mostly jeans, put them outside to dry in the wind, which it didn't take long to dry, then into the drier for 10 minutes. I then went and seen Hazel at Michelles what a fun hour. All the family was there so it was a good time to visit her and let the others do the visiting. Hazel was full of it fixed a easy supper Hamburger helper.
Leroy, Sure hope you are feeling better and out of pain. Did you get any answers?
Jan, Parking for sales is hard, were you able to buy some books?
Mary, Feeling better guess the trip to the chiropractor was worth it. Nice pictures.
Lair, Yes I have seen a few snow flurries this morning. I can always complain about the guessers, trying to forecast 10 days away, why just do today and tomorrow.
Linda, Rain for you yes yes. Wrong time of year for me to do puzzles, and for some reason I didn't do any during the cold months. How is the tree doing?
Carolyn, Nice having company for lunch. Three weeks will go fast.
M/M, Yes to the buds. We have volunteers here also, right now I'm planning on digging some small plum trees and replanting in the park. Strange about your visitor, do you think he was looking for someone else house. He better not show up again.
Connie, I do post early most of the time, and you do late, but we do change our schedule sometimes. When does the quilt need to be done? You got this friend.
Guess I best get busy I got the shark out 1 hour ago and its in the same spot. But first I will do some dusting.
Have a great day

Good morning everyone. Carol, bright and sunny here,33* now (6:30), going up to 64* later. Am I remembering correctly? The white cat has disappeared and you suspect Paulaâs friend? That poor cat. Keyscar, what did you have to click on and agree with? I just click on âlog inâ and Iâm here, my iPad remembers this site. Leroy, I do so hope youâve gotten answers to your health issues. Youâve got me worried. Made it to âBarbs book saleâ (a fundraiser for the symphony orchestra), held twice a year for two weeks, April and November. Itâs huge, did find a couple of mystery/detective books I like to read so that was my outing for the day. Bedding in washer. When beds are remade, will put together a macaroni salad. Cooked the pasta last night. No idea what to have with it. Thatâll probably be my day. Jan Carol, yup, got the closest parking spot right in front. Couldnât believe it, never easy to find parking on our downtown streets. Usually have to go to a parkade,(a many tiered parking lot) and thatâs in the next block. To far for me to walk from.

Good morning Ladies. It is overcast today with a a bar of sunshine across the horizon to the east. Not sure if the clouds are moving towards us or if they are taking the sun away. I guess it is a wait and see. I hope Leroy got some relief from his Doctor. Not sure what I am doing today. My plans were for Dale to come up today and go plant shopping. I talked to him last night and discussed the cool weather. He decided he will work today since he gets double pay on this Sat. Things may be better next week. I don't want to go plant shopping wearing winter coat and gloves. After the rain we got on Wednesday my grass is really green. On TV this morning they are pushing "NO MOW MAY" to let the grass grow so the bugs can get food from the flowers. Makes me wonder what these people are growing in their yard. Nobody has flowers around their houses any more let alone in the grass. Seems that all the houses now days are surrounded by shrubs and evergreens. Nobody has flowers like when I was a kid. If my grass needs mowing in May I will have it done. Just mow around any flower if I find any. Well, I need to turn up the furnace becauuuse I have chill bumps. You all have a good day.

My day is going to be spent trying to connect my granny rectangles together. The living room was too dark last night so I didn't even try to work on the project. I watched a bunch of videos, and tried to use those methods this morning, and found none that I like. I went back to the videos and watched some more after ripping out and giving up on my multiple disaster tries. I have narrowed it down to 'the invisible seam'. It involves using the same color yarn and a darning needle. It just makes the rectangles look like they are laid out side by side.
Leroy, I so hope you didn't end up in the hospital. Please check in.
Everyone up here in the cold, stay warm. My furnace is running because the wind is really blowing and it's only 36Âș.

Well I have accomplished a few things besides eating doughnuts.i made three dozen yesterday. Hope I get some com p any to help me eat them. For so little money I have so many.
I have been placing the pictures of Judy, taken in a studio when she was young, back into her album. I had removed them to scan for the video shown at her funeral two months ago. Each of the girls were given an album put together by me, for Christmas about 25 years ago. The albums are huge. Packed with the snapshots of our lives. These albums are treasures!Mike and Mark have no children so I wonder where Judy's will end up when they are gone? They were created with so much love and stick to it'v ness.when I get in to something I am on a mission and how!
Sort of like Mary and her crocheting. Lol
Leroy, how are you today? Hoping the pain has left you and I too hope you are not back in the hospital. Thinking of you alot!
I also have Judy's mother in laws family album. Just borrowed it to browse through. Judy's mother in law loved Judy so much. She told me that several times and Judy was at Mae's house every day looking after her when she needed her.the love went both ways.
I am ready for a nap now.
I will be back. Always come back at night to see what Connie has been doing. Even tho she hurts she just keeps on going!

Good morning. 44, going to 53, with partly sunny sky.
The doctor wasn't sure what was causing all the pain, but did prescribe Trammadol. Adam picked that up this morning, and I took ona about an hour ago. It seems to have helped some. I couldn't sit in the wheelchair longer than about 30 minutes or so last night. Slept in the bed till I woke up, then sat in the recliner and slept there. Adam had come up about midnight to check on me, and I had just gotten to the recliner then. I watched a movie, and slept in the recliner. I couldn't get out of it until I had taken the Trammadol as it pressed down on the nerve when I went to change to the wheelchair. (Good thing I have spellcheck, as I had typed in wheelbarrow!) Don't think I ever would have gotten out of that!!!
Doctor wants me to see a chronic pain doctor, so his office is making the arrangements and will let me know. (Sigh) Another doctor, but if it helps, I'm all for it.
My Penny Cress plant is through blooming, so I need to get it pulled pretty soon. I looked in the front bed as I was going down the ramp yesterday, and there are 3 small Bleeding Heart plants blooming. I thought they were all gone two years ago when I gave away all those plants. I was in the hospital last year, so don't know if they were there or not. Might check with the neighbor to see if she wants them. They are in full sun, so not the best place for them.
We had an interesting thing happen with one of the prescriptions yesterday. It's an antibiotic for the infection that was in my leg. I've been taking it since last May, and needed it refilled for the first time this year. Walgreen's called to say it was ready, and the cost was $688.00 for 90 days. We were paying only $4.15 last year, so he called the doctor about it. The nurse called back and said CVS had it for $35.00 through GoodRx. This refill is supposed to be the last one. By the time the 90 days is up, I will be in the Catastrophic phase on drugs, so the price would be a lot cheaper if I had to have another refill. The cancer med is what drives up the amount spent on drugs, so my shipment this month will get me there.
That's all I know today. Have a good day. You can tell the med is working, or I would not have been able to type all that.

I just stopped in to see if Leroy posted. Whew, I can breath easier now. I was getting worried. Glad you can get some relief Leroy.
I'm working on the rectangles. I finally figured out how to join them. I'm using a plastic needle and pieces of yarn, and basically sewing them together. I have 2 panels of 8 made so far, and now working on the 3rd panel.
I'll check back later.
6:45- I now have 4 panels created, and just need to join them together. Probably not gonna happen anymore today. I should know not to sit at a table to work. I got the stabbing pain in my back again. I just got done squirted on some Ahh-MaZing pain med. and rubbed it in. I'll chill out for the rest of the night.

Leroy, Glad you got some help but there is a big disconnect in the cost of the medicationâŠ.from $4.15-$688âŠis that supposed to be from $4.15 to $6.88? Regardless, medications are still going up. I see a pain management doctor for leg and back pain. Really helps but know what you mean about âone MORE doctorâ. No inflation though the media tells us.

"When does the quilt need to be done? You got this friend."His graduation is on Friday May 17th, about 150 miles from here. I originally thought it was May 12th so I got a 5 day grace period. I have to get it to the quilter and hope she can squeeze me in to get it done in time for me to get the binding done too. Seh does binding too so I may just have her do it all. Today I only got 2 more rows sewn and added to what I had done...total done now is 6. 15 rows total. I looked up the size 84 x 90 as that is what the measurements should be...online chart says that's a double and he has a queen bed so I may need to cheat and add some borders! If I did 4-6 inch borders, that would add a lot. Guess I should call the quilt lady to let her know I will be coming and see what she says the size should be for a queen. The backing material I end up with could also be the borders and binding!!! I am still off from the VA this week. Lair, sorry Dale did not get to come up for the weekend but I sure understand his working when he can get some overtime. Leroy, I was wondering how you were doing today as well. So glad you replied to all us worry warts! At least you know we care about your well being & worry when things are not right. Jan, here the meds have to be in your prescription plan and there are usually levels and certain drugs are higher. Other things can apply to a prescription plan and some can put you in a certain class etc. That's what Leroy was talking about. I am lucky and all my meds are filled with generic drugs which makes them far less expensive...I pay no co pays for the most part. Not all are lucky enough to have that kind of coverage! I won't bore you with more....I drug my feet today and the back and shoulders were being a pain today so I did not get as much done as I could have. I did make some soup...Made Zuppa Toscana but the kale I thought was in the freezer was not there so I substituted cabbage. It was okay but I put in a full pound of spicy sausage and the recipe calls for 1/2 pound so it is thicker. Have yourselves a good night! PS. MaryB, sounds like you were the prizewinner with some goodly rain amounts. You know most of us are very envious!!! LOL
