Good Morning and a sunny morning it is, but rather chilly, 46 and the high should be about 52, but the wind will be blowing again. Feeling pretty lazy right now, cat got me up way too early. No rest for the wicked, in fact I'm tried of being soft, I think I will turn ornery. Not really but sometimes I think I should be that way. Talk about soft, that little white cat I haven't seen in 3 days, I know it was Paula's, and if would be just like her friend (who she lives with) to take that cat for a long ride. Maybe tomorrow I will check that out. Makes me mad thinking about it. Today we need to go back to the booth, we didn't get finished, thats a long story, will just say didn't get finished. I hope to be home before 5. We went to the Estate sale didn't buy much, and 2 G.sales again we didn't buy much. One thing I picked out was a very pretty apron, will sell that at the booth. Aprons are a thing in the past, I wear one when cooking on the Holidays. After getting home Ray took a nap and I fixed supper it all went in the oven. Did what dishes had to be done and called it a night.
Mary, How is the back and hip today?
Lair, I hope you enjoyed yesterday.
Carolyn, I too have toys for the greats here, not many as I have some from the grands. Sounds like a fun trip coming up.
Leroy, Keeping my fingers crossed for a good report today. I have smellavision, always smelling something odd.
Connie, Good finds at the sales, yes a lot cheaper then goodwill. Goodwill here has gone very expensive.
Need to get something out of the freezer for supper, what will it be. Have a great day

Good morning everyone. Sorry I haven’t been here for a few days. Life gets in the way sometimes. Haven’t been able to read much either. I’ll try to catch up later today. Hope everyone is keeping well. Hope to get to the book sale here today. It’s been on for two weeks now and tomorrow is the last day. We’ll drive by and if there’s parking within half a block we’ll go in, otherwise we’ll just drive by. On twice a year, this would be the first time I’ve missed it if I don’t go. Another new normal? Well, time to get my coffee and get on with my day. Jan

Good Morning All. The sun is shining brightly!
I got totally ambitious yesterday, and the rectangles are done up to their final round of the dark green. I was about 12 stitches from done on the sage color and ran out of yarn. AHH!!! I got the new skein out and finished those few stitches on the round, but it looked like the new yarn wasn't quite as dark as it was supposed to be. I ripped it all out back to the beginning and re-did it in the new skein. NOPE, it looked lighter. I ripped that all out, and re-did with the old yarn, but crocheted a lot tighter stitches, but still couldn't get it done, so I finished with the new yarn. It was late by then so I gave up. I looked at it this morning, and it looks ok. I don't know what I was seeing last night. I just have the last row of the dark green to put on these 8 and then I'll be done. I did go looking for a blanket done in these squares, and not a single one to be found. I guess my blanket is going to be a one-of-a-kind granny rectangle baby blanket. I'll lay them out once I get that final round done. I did time myself making each round, and my guess would be it takes just under 45 minutes to make a rectangle.
Carol, I feel better since going to the chiropractor. They have you sign a paper and date it each time you're there, and my last date was back in Feb., so that's why I was aching. I was getting neuropathy in my feet, and I already know that comes from my low back hip area. It was nice to go to sleep last night and sleep through the night.
Well, breakfast is calling. I'll have to check the rain gauge. It was at 1.25" yesterday morning. It was still sprinkling but I don't think we got much more. We were to have a frost warning last night. Whatever, it's April, Spring is here, but not time yet for planting things.

Good Morning. That was strange, I just got a sign that said I had to sign in to reply. I went to sign in and it said I was already signed in. Then everything went back to normal. Yesterday was a good day for me. I feel much better except my butt is a little tender, must be from using it so much yesterday. That was just a joke. This morning the sun is out and should be a nice day but a little cool at 43 degrees. I think they said 50 something for a high. Possible flurries this afternoon. I doubt that, they are just covering their asses. Around 10 am I plan on going into the Greenhouse and will water, trim, and fertilize till I am exhausted. I still have a lot of plants out there waiting to go outside. Sounds like it will be the end of next week before I can get the plants back out of the garage. Will have to keep an eye on the daily forecasts since they change it constantly. Two weeks ago they said temps would be above normal the rest of the month. That was the last day we had normal. Every day since it has been below normal with frost a few nights. The guessers have all these hi-tech tools, now if they would just learn to use them. That's OK, I still can complain about them. I hope you all have a good day.

Good Morning Everyone! Cloudy and cold front with rain moving in this afternoon but I like rainy days so am good with that forecast. ATT finally showed up last evening and have the Ethernet cable hooked up. Tanner did a remote check this morning and the sped for the internet is really improved. He is a really neat young man. The ATT guy showed up so late last evening that we didn’t go out for dinner so will do that tonight. Think I will make Ranch Stew today to have tomorrow since the cold front is moving in. My Hot Lips Salvia is looking good…would like a salvia basket but will have to find the salvia. Carol, doing a puzzle? Hope everyone is having a good day.

The baby came yesterday with his mommy. She ate lunch with me, he did a lot of exploring. Love having them. You all have a wonderful Friday 🌻🌻

good afternoon!
It is such a lovely day/I am a happy camper as yesterday I went out to check on the transplanted sugar maple that Jill moved last November and that little rascal hs buds all over it! I have been waiting for this all winter! LOL. I have been squinting from the front windows for a week or two just hoping to see something. We planted it right smack in the middle of the front yard. It had been a volunteer out in the side yard and too close to another one that was a volunteer.
Our 80 some foot maples are so old and dropping limbs in wind and we planted everyone of them 70 years ago. I just wanted to have a nice new one started for whomever lives here next. I hope they appreciate it. Our many trees have given us so much enjoyment through the years. Larry dug each one up in a friends woods in the fall of 1954 and I directed him in planting ech one. I would be in the house and giving him hand signals as just where to dig. The very first two were planted as to give shade to the house in morning and late afternoon sunlight. We had 16 maples at one time.
Last night, at almost dark, Bonnie barked and barked and raced to the breezway door. I had the lights on already and peered out the south living room window and there was a man. Looking right in at me! I shook my head saying no and he left. I looked at my security camera and he was very camera savvy as he came from his car, waving his arms in the air and looking straight at my camera. Laffing. Dave told me this morning that he was also saying hello, hello! It was as if he was saying, I know how I look but don't shoot. Just don't shoot me! I have my hands up! I am not a threat! I watched him leave, and drive north. He did not stop at Jane's house. I am baffled. Dave, Jill and Joni can all see my camera clips. We don't know why he was here. He had a canister type thing in his left hand.
It isd windy today.
Connie and Carol, I envy you both , going to sales. I loved that! I always had my list made out and travelled far and wide.LOL It would be really nice to have had a GPS system back then. Would have saved a lot of gas!
I am going to make doughnuts now as I gave away all of the others. Mike was here yesterday and I gave them to him and Dave.
Everyone have a nice day and Leroy, I hate that you are in pain! I hope that it is gone soon!

Checking back in. I have all my rectangles done, and laid them out for a picture. I'll need to connect them together by sections and then rows, and then put a boarder around the whole blanket. I've still got to figure out which way will be the best to join them. A rough measure came up with 37" wide and 45" for top to bottom. End for end Top to bottom (maybe connecting these side by side and then only having to connect 4 long rows) Leroy, I so hope you get some answers on your pain issues. MaryinMi, So it wasn't Dave looking in your window? Well, off to trying my hand at joining some of these rectangles. I watched some videos and still struggling to join the rectangles and have them look nice.

Oh no, WTH, MaryinMi, now you have me worried and scared. I think I'd be having a chat with the sheriff's dept. if nobody knows who he was.

Late again but what's new about that? I started out late this morning...did not get up until after 9 but finished my book last night after 11 so decided to get some sleep this AM. Finally got started on the quilt about 11. Worked on it and then had to rest my arms etc. I quit about 5. I got 4 rows put together and quit as my shoulders and arms were hurting. I have been laying it out on the washer and dryer but that works well as that is also where I iron. I have ironed the seams on each row and that seems to be a big help. at this rate, i will be 4 days & more getting it put together. Will need to run to the fabric store to get a piece for backing. WE have a fabric store that stocks a lot of wide materials just for quilt backing...maybe 90-100 bolts! I laid it out on the bed as I needed to use the washer and it looks okay to me!
I did two loads of laundry after I got my shower and that is now all washed and folded so I can hit the hay. I don't hurt to bad except when I stand up.
MaryB, those blocks look nice..I like the vertical lay out with blocks lengthwise. You do such nice work and crochet so fast!
MaryinMichigan, do you think the guy that was walking up to your door was a threat? It didn't sound like it to me.
Hope everyone is doing okay...Leroy, hope you were feeling better.
I am off to Lala land. Have a good night!
