Good morning all. Another bright sunny start to the day, will get to the mid 50s. No canning today as the church is hosting a ham supper tomorrow and is doing all the prep work today. Not sure what I'll do with my morning off 🤔 . Sure I'll find something to fill in my time. There's always some housework. Have a terrific Tuesday!

Good morning everyone. It is 49º and raining...more like drizzling. Our high for the day is a predicted 60º with a weather alert for this afternoon... heavy rain, damaging winds, hail and possible tornadoes. I'm hoping for just rain so keeping my fingers crossed that we get nothing serious.
Yesterday was work and then I went to Phyllis's to work for about 1½ hours. When I got home from there, I got a text from DGD, Brandi. She said she was taking the kids to the park and asked if I'd like to join them Of course, I said yes and went there for a couple of hours. So fun playing with them. I got home a little before 7 and didn't do a single thing after that except warm up some scalloped potatoes and ham I'd been given from work....it was 1 of our noon specials.
It looks like I will have to find inside jobs for this morning. The gals will come at noon and this afternoon I will help Phyllis. She has a huge cupboard in her kitchen packed full of paper products, nuts, baking chips and candy. I think most of the baking chips and nuts are years outdated.
Tasty....thanks for opening this morning. Glad you've completed the most recent paining project. I have no doubt you'll find something to do this morning.
Karen....prayers for your DBIL....sounds like a serious illness.
Leslie.....glad you got your septic pumped. A customer at work said he had his pumped last week and it was $600....I couldn't believe it!
Hope Bette's supper went well last night.
Happy Tuesday to all. Charlene

Good morning. It's 64 now but we may hit 90 today. April is often our start of summer with high temps. It would be nice if spring lasted longer. I will probably do a little outside after I get some energy. First feed the cats, then coffee. Tonight I plan to go to a women's mission meeting at a church. It's an annual meeting for women in all of the churches in our association, but I haven't been in quite a few years.
Tasty, enjoy your day off.

Charlene, I guess I shouldn't complain about the cost since I have never had it pumped and I've been here almost 30 years. That comes down to just pennies per month whereas my sons pay an extra 52 per month in their utility bill that includes sewage, stormwater and trash pickup. I've been fortunate that I haven't had major problems. I'll try to do it at least every 5 years now, as long as I'm alive. Have a good lunch with your friends.

It is sunny and really pretty outside. A little cooler than I am going to like for the day, but that may be best for working outside. The high temperature range for our viewing area is projected to be from the low 50s to 80°. That's a big swing! I've tended to the seedlings this morning, getting them watered and turned. Even though I said I was done sowing seeds, I may sow a couple more sunflower seeds. I planted 6, and 4 are up. I really want more than 4, so I guess that means more sowing. That is from the Evening Sun Mix seeds. I may also snag some black oil sunflowers and sow them, too, just for fun. They stay on the smaller side and the blooms are pretty. The pump is also going strong this morning. I probably could slack off on that now, but I am liking the idea of getting this down a bit more. We're likely to get thunderstorms tonight that will add more rain back onto the cover and tomorrow severe weather is looking likely. The less water on the cover until then seems like the best idea. I also just plain like that I've pulled this off. LOL! I wasn't sure about the pump when I bought it, what to do about the bottom cover refusing to stay on, or the tubing fit this year. Nice that it is working out well. I have a grocery order to pick up in a little while. Although, I haven't gotten a text that it is ready for pickup with half an hour to go, and that is unusual. It's nothing urgent. Just stuff we could use and I needed to use my bonus points that I guess I can't use in person now unless I have their app. I don't want their app. I have enough clutter in my head. Tasty, I find it hard to be bored. There is always something to do. Find something fun to occupy your time! It seems, Charlene, that your severe weather alert is heading our way. I hope it doesn't turn out to be the case for either of us, or anyone else for that matter. I just got a text from DSisIL#1 that DBIL#1 is improving and will be moved out of ICU into a regular room. Not sure what happens next, but he is at least moving in the right direction. Maybe the larger hospital is the better place for him. I can see how you would appreciate a longer spring, Leslie. Your high temp for the day sounds oppressive. I had our furnace off for a few days so we could have the windows open. Last night got a little chilly so I turned it back on this morning. Mary, you've reminded me that I need to add gathering stuff up for the church rummage sale to my to-do list. I keep coming across things we can be rid of so the timing is good. Nice that you have a good option for the yard sales in your girls' subdivisions. Very nice getting that check for answering some questions! Sorry to hear, Dave, that you are getting wind and rain. It makes me thankful for a slight breeze and sunshine even if it is a little cool here today. Well, I just got a message that my order is ready for pickup. I need to get dressed and head out. Wishing everyone a tremendous Tuesday whatever your day will include!

Taking a lunch break. Heated up 2 of the cabbage wedges from last night. I think they are better today. DGS and his GF must have liked the potato stroganoff because it was all gone this morning. My winter comforter is washed and in the dryer and the sheets are in the wash. The top mattress is turned around. I've picked up sticks and dragged large limbs to the back yard. It is hot out there. I'll go back out after I get the sheets in the dryer but might just sit on a chair in the back yard where there is more shade and cut the smaller limbs down some. Maybe I'll take the chainsaw outside in case I get motivated to cut the larger ones. My back is hurting from the bending so will do the shiatsu massage before I go back out. Can't work outside too late because I'll need to get cleaned up for the meeting tonight.
I realized while I was outside that my mom passed away 16 years ago today.

Good afternoon,
We are sunny & 63*. Storm overnight dropped a little over 2" of rain not 99 like my digital says. I guess that one's toast. Not sure I want another one. I may just get a pretty outdoor one & stick with that.
First thing I am going to do when I go out in a few minutes is mow the back yard inside the fence. I've been waiting on it to dry out real good so I could rake & mow the leaves. But I can't stand looking at it any longer.
Leslie, why don't you get your GS to do some of that heavy work for you?
Potluck tonight. I may not hear anything but I'll have a good meal. LOL
Sitting here is not getting anything done. I'll check back later.

Good morning if I hurry. Gloomy and windy and rain forecast. Its 55 now which is the high. This morning I have been helping my mom with some things inside and got her leg wrapped for the shower. She has bandages yet and a boot to wear. Once she gets the bandages off that will be easier. She goes back Th.
Yesterday was gorgeous, sunny and 65. Got my moms front yard all raked and cleaned up and cleaned off the front yard flower beds. Thank goodness dd was there to help since that took us 4 hours together. Her yard is big and the beds are as well. Did some other outdoor projects and did spend a little time just enjoying the sun and visiting outside.
We will head home after lunch and get some things done. Need to get moving on that since I have things to do at home. Ttyl!

Good afternoon, worked a bit on the balcony, I just swept the walls down. I used to get on the ladder and scrub but do not feel like doing that anymore. I was thinking of uncovering the furniture but it may be a bit early for that yet so I did not do it.
The temperature is currently 67° but my balcony thermometer says it is 77° and there is no sun on the balcony at the moment. The sun is shining brightly.
Need to make my yearly wellness doctor visit, so I guess I will do that.
Have a good day
