Charlene we were on the same wavelength this morning! Lol! Those posts couldn’t have been more than a couple seconds apart!😂
We are strating out at 34 headed to 56. A mix of blue and clouds right now. I work today. We only have 8 kids and 2 screeners. Hopefully they are all scheduled back to back and done by noon then.
Yesterday I made another trip to the fleet store for 5 more bags of MG and a 40# bag of sunflower seeds as well. I decided to stain the pergola yesterday so worked on that and got it done. Softball in the late afternoon. A rough season with inexperienced players. At least dds attitude is that she just plays the best she can and can’t control anyone else’s ability.
Well I better get moving as I need to leave in 35 mins and I am in my pjs. An awful nights sleep. Glad I have a follow up phone visit with my new dr Monday.
Have a good day.

Good morning. It down poured all night long with wind. Still going on. The grass is really green and I'm glad I got the first mow done on Wednesday. The temps have been in the high 60's and the tree leaves are coming out. I love this time of the season.
Work was busy had a USDA inspection yesterday and he found a few things that need attention. There is another one at a different site today.
The seedlings are doing good. Now trying to figure out when I can put them out to get acclimated to the weather. Should be towards the end of April.
Have some errands to do today so I better get a move on. Have a good day.

Good morning all and happy Friday. Where did the week go?! Cooler this morning at 65° but sun will warm it up by this afternoon.
We had very high winds yesterday and a thunderstorm in the afternoon. I had to take my trellis down before it fell down. Two of the spikes that anchor it came off. Hopefully I can get someone to secure them.
Not much to report. Pretty much a routine week. I'm looking forward to a restful weekend. It's our last song in choir so no practice until Fall when the Northerners are back and we start practices for Christmas. I'm not rushing it though.
I have to rush out to get the garage out before they truck comes. Have a great day and wonderful weekend.

Good morning everyone. It is 40º and headed to 58º although we will once again have a wind making it feel cooler.
Yesterday was mostly consumed with helping Phyllis because it was cleaning day. Today I need to take Lair to the wound clinic and then he needs groceries. Before taking him this morning, I need to clean up the kitchen. This afternoon I need to do some book work and go to the bank. Hopefully I can also get some time outside to at least pick up branches. The winds we've had have blown lots of limbs onto my yard.
I don't think I've told you about the 'gender reveal' for DGS last Friday evening. He and his SO are having a baby girl in early August. They are both excited since she has 2 boys. That will make 4 great granddaughters and 3 great grandsons for me.
Melissa...We were both on the same wave length this morning, weren't we? Glad to hear that DD has a good attitude about softball. I bet she's the type that can give corrective criticism to the inexperienced players to help their game. Being a former coach, I know the players are more apt to listen to their friends than they are to listen to the coach. With all the exercise and fresh air you get every day I can't understand why you don't sleep like a rock every night. I hope the new Dr can give you some help with that.
Happy Friday to all. Hopefully Wendy, Bette, Elaine, Mary Marnee and a few others that haven't posted much lately visit here today. Charlene

Good morning. We are starting out with Melissa's high of 56 and going to 75 and windy. I need to make a run to Walmart for catfood and litter. I'll take the trash on my way there. After I get home I need to dig through some files and see if I can find the title to my mobile home. For some reason when I wake up in the middle of the night that is one thing that keeps me awake. I bought the property, including the mobile home, from a woman in 1994 but shortly after she signed the loan over to one of her sons. It was paid for in 2004 and I believe he sent me the title, which I should have then taken to the DMV to get one with my name on it, but I don't think I did. I had a name change from the time I bought it until it was paid for as well and my tax bill still comes in my old name. The title issue is just on the mobile home but doesn't affect the deed to the land it's on. In thinking about the future if I don't try to take care of it I don't know what my kids can do with it. I've looked several times and haven't found it, then forget about it for a while, only to have it pop in my head and haunt me later. I do at least have my divorce papers that mention the property and a letter from the mortgage owner when it was paid for. But no title. So I'll pull out all of my files one more time and see. I guess I should have gotten a safe years ago.
Today DS#2 turned 41.
Melissa, that's a lot of bags of soil. I need to get some and get busy planting.
Sandy, my front has been mowed twice and needs it again, plus the back needs it because of the spiderworts everywhere.
Wendy, have a relaxing weekend.
Charlene, congratulations on another GGD. My first is due next month. My granddaughters and the twins, along with DDIL, will be giving them a shower the end of this month. It will just be family and we will have to go there. One of her aunt's will be giving her one here the day before.
I need to get busy. Have a great Friday.

My day is going great so far. I already have the kitchen cleaned up and got my bookwork done. I will run to the bank before picking up Lair so having that done will free up my afternoon to maybe do something outside or to start transplanting all of those zinnia seedlings I planted last week. They are growing by leaps and bounds.
Sandy...Don't you just hate those inspections? I remember how I dreaded them when we had the restaurant and when I catered. I am planning on starting to harden off my geraniums probably this weekend. The seedlings will be introduced to a fan once they're transplanted. I put it on low a few days and then turn it up to high.
Wendy...Good to see you here this morning. Sorry about the wind, but it is certainly something I can relate to. We have so much wind that we can't even have wind spinners in our yards...ironic, right? Garden flags are riddled quickly and also wind chimes unless you buy the very expensive ones. Do you have a going away party for all of the snow birds?
Leslie....Isn't it strange what enters our minds on sleepless nights? Good luck on your title search. Happy birthday to DS. I am not sure if there will be a shower for this grand or not. Being her 3rd child, often not, but it will be here 1st girl and all of her baby stuff burned up in her house fire last year. Charlene

Beautiful day out with lots of sunshine. I hung the sheets and underwear outside to dry. I'm also washing all the winter sweaters to put them away for a few months. "Don't watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going." Marlene

What the heck is with the wind? Sheesh! It seems to be all over the place in reading everyone's posts. Our lights have flickered and we have a high wind warning in effect until midnight. Yippee! That isn't going to be great for DH or me trying to get into the building for rehab this afternoon. As bad as it is now, the afternoon is expected to be even worse. I guess at least the rain has stopped? I haven't heard the totals on what we have gotten. I am thinking it has to be well over 2". With that being the case, I can't really pump off the pool cover with the ground being that saturated. Oh well. This too shall pass, right? I need to pay bills this morning so I don't forget those in what might be another chaotic day. I'm sure there is more that I need to do outside of DH's rehab. I am just drawing a blank right now. It feels as though our bells have been rung. We got word yesterday that DBIL#1 was in a bad way. The family had just gone to Jamaica for their son's wedding when he became ill. It was thought he had an UTI, but initial testing suggested it could be worse. He was going to need to be transported to a bigger hospital because it was looking like he might need dialysis. Prayers seemed to be answered the last we heard last night because after several bags of fluids got into him it was deemed that he wouldn't need to be transported after all. His numbers had turned around. Only trouble then was the hospital was full and he'd need to stay in the ER until a bed opened up. With #2 still recovering from his kidney cancer surgery, DH with his dementia stuff going on, and now this, it's been a lot for the family to process. I spoke with DBIL#3 yesterday and he is having an aortic ultrasound done because of his age and family history (the cousin who died unexpectedly last year). He said if he finds out something is wrong, he isn't going in for big treatments. He's done all the things he's wanted to do and doesn't want to die miserably. I'm not convinced that DSisIL doesn't have her own health stuff going on but isn't saying so. She hasn't attended family things and hasn't stopped by here since her DH died. Her behavior just isn't the way she has been in the past. When I talked with her last night, she said she was "hanging in there", which could mean anything. Anyway, we are kind of holding our breath on health stuff around here. Thank God I have my seedlings! They are doing well and keeping my chin up. Charlene, those are cute little crocuses in your meme. I really have to make sure to plant bulbs in the fall. I love that you and Melissa were thinking so much alike this morning. Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your newest DGGD! Very exciting for the whole family. What a nice mix of great grands you will have! Hopefully, Melissa, the appointments are booked close enough together that you can get in and out early today. Your DD has a very mature attitude about her softball experiences. That is a lot to be proud of! You are ahead of us on having already mowed, Sandy. I'm afraid our nephew will be needing a scythe to do ours the first time. Wendy, glad to see you posting today! Happy Birthday, Leslie, to your DSon. Hope you find what you are looking for when you look again. That does happen some times. 🙏 It is rough when stuff you can't control invades our sleeping hours. Love that saying, Marlene. Now to remember it! LOL! Guess I need to wave to everyone I may have missed. DH is on the warpath. Just when I get a grip on things, I lose hold. 🙃 Have a fabulous Friday! Mary, that explanation about the swimming suits does make sense.

Good afternoon, the temperature is currently at 57° and cloudy. I see the one thing on the computer says we are having light rain but that is wrong, no rain here. There is a bit of a breeze going I can hear it flapping the vents on the roof.
Not much going on here. Kind of normal these days. I will have the last of the chili for lunch and probably baked potato for this evening.
I need to run the vacuum on the carpet, maybe today or it might wait until tomorrow.
Have a good day.

Good morning, its 48° headed to highs around 68°. We have light rain this morning and expect decreasing shower today with increasing sunshine this afternoon. So, all in all should be a pleasant weather day.
The lawn needs to dry out so we can mow again, amazing how fast the grass grows this time of the year.
Yesterday was grooming day for Precious. While Precious was being groomed we often wait there. It is amazing to watch people and their dogs. I am always impressed with the groomers there, while many of the dogs are regular customers there were some dogs that were long overdue for grooming.
Today I need to clean the hummingbird feeders and make some fresh nectar. May not need to put out as many feeders as I am just not seeing a lot of hummers since our freezing weather in January. I have 9 feeders and before the freezing weather I would need to refill half of the feeder’s mid-week and now a lot of the feeders are still full.
Have a great day everyone.

Good morning. Been busy lately but I do read this post everyday. Just nothing really going on. I did join a bookclub a couple months ago and have enjoyed it but would never in a million years pick the books we've been reading . I took on a job of taking a border collie(CiCi) to the dog park everyday and throwing her a ball for a half hour. I've done it for 2 weeks, but still haven't seen any money, lol oh well, she is a good dog. The owner works 12 hours a day selling cars.
Have a great weekend. Elaine
