Good Morning!! It is a good morning, we have sun. Its 32 and the high is to be close to 50, but the wind is coming again. I have a few things to do today, first one is to fold some clothes, I might wash some dark clothes, call to get our taxes done, thats all I can think of right now. Will have to wait and see what gets done. Last night we had a beautiful sunset, unreal we never seen the sun yesterday at all. I didn't do much last night, but did get some Easter decro taken care of, I only have the lights now to do. Will do them before Ray gets up, he doesn't like me on the stool. Ended up watching a old western on TV.
Lair, I too am thinking about starting some seeds, I might wait another week or two. I might be sorry for waiting. Just the right time for a pleasant call.
Grammy, Maybe the traffic won't be too bad. I'm very wet also, moss growing in a lot of places.
Carolyn, Sorry about your little town, it will take a some time to recover. Sweet little visitor.
Leroy, Thats great when we can get in early, I try to go in early for that reason. Any news yet on the ultrasound yesterday?
Linda, A lot of restaurants here close early, no late dinners, close by 3pm. Maybe you will have to put some labels on your cabinets for a while, so you know whats inside. Do you get orioles?
Mary, Glad the snow is melting.
Connie, but you did get some cutting done, don't be so hard on yourself. We will see about 85-90% of the eclipse. Have a fun lunch.
Guess that is it for now, have a great day.

Good Morning. For a change we have full sun this morning, the temp is 43 degrees headed for 60's. The forecast for the next week looks great. The first 3 days of rain (we like that as dry as we are) and after that temps in the 60's the rest of the week. I went out in the greenhouse later yesterday and the temp was in the 70's. Very pleasant so I watered the plants. They are all showing a lot of growth. My Martha Washington geraniums are all full bloom. When I feel up to it I need to start trimming all my outside plants before they go out. That will take a few days and the hard part will be throwing out the cuttings. I have a habit of rooting them until I run out of pots. Then about August it takes hours to water all the plants out in the heat. I am saying I won't do it this year but it will be hard to keep this resolution. I hope you are all well and are having a good day. Later...

Good morning. It is a pretty day!
I don't have a thing planned. That's OK tho because I seldom do what I plan!
Anne came by last evening and dropped off things I needed from Sam's Club. Two big bags of big shrimp that were on sale for 16.00 rather than 20. And a big bag of shelled pecans. I will soon be making pecan/praline caramel corn again.
I want to make quiche again too as it makes a good meal for me to just take a frozen slice from freezer.
I hope we all have a nice weekend.
Maryin michigan.

Good morning. 49, going to 54, with partly sunny sky.
Got the results on my ultrasound, and the spleen is enlarged. She said to just be careful about bumping into that area until it shrinks back down again. I'm on the medicine again, so hopefully, it will shrink with no problems. I did have a little problem with my nose bleeding a little on one side, so that may have been because of the medicine. That seems to have pretty much stopped, though.
I have PT this afternoon. Adam had what he thought was a migraine, so I'm hoping the medicine he took for it works, and he feels okay by the time I need to get ready.
Did anybody hear about the earthquake in New Jersey and New York. Nobody commented on the VSR thread, and I know there are two members who live in New York.
Have a good day
Leroy

Good Morning, Everyone! Had to go have blood drawn for the Cardiologist…had a cute young student waiting…asked if she was going to draw my blood. She said , “Only if you will let me..you will be my first”! Remember that feeling from nursing school so said I would even tell her which vein was the best! She did very well and smiling, thanked me for being her first blood drawing patient.
Carol, won’t make any difference if I label anything…have 3 different places with spices and what the cottage calls a “Pantry” is a small closet not a nice big one that I had in the old house.I can’t imagine moving into an apartment….the downsizing for this 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage was really difficult. Know I will get used to it but will take time and patience isn’t a virtue of mine. No, no orioles here. Just mainly small finches and other little birds and the Starlings…pigeons from time to time too.
An 80° day today but wind is supposed to pick up. Since they are building a huge new high school a ways away, will have blowing dirt too.
Hope everyone has a good ay.

Good Morning All. We did usual breakfast, and then stopped at the grocery store to pick up a few things.
I made 2.5 granny rectangles yesterday. I'm gonna do some measuring of the two that are now done to see how many I'll need to make a small blanket. I was thinking I should time myself to see how long it takes to make one complete rectangle. I started to time, but had to stop, and forgot to restart the timer when I started up again. Oh well.... It takes about as long to work in tails as it does to make one. There are 4 different colors, and two tails to each round. Now I remember what I didn't like about making granny squares. They have the same amount of tails but smaller.
I was down in the basement earlier, and I see the amaryllis buds are drying up. I saw my one hibiscus had a flower open on it. I saw the bud yesterday, but figured it would be like all the rest, and drop off before it opened. It's on the small size but whatever.
Well, off to do more nothing.

Lunch today was okay. We were in a room off the main dining room so not so noisy. Once the last gal got there it was her was all I could hear. Small group, only 6 of us and all that I knew.
Stopped at a G-sale on the way home...mostly little kids toys but did find three jars with lids, a tall glass canister and a rubber thing that would work for some big ice cubes. The guy said just give me two bucks,,,no just forget it and take all of it. I said are you sure? He said yes...I told him I was getting it for a charity (LOMB) & they would surely appreciate it! Sometimes you get lucky! I figured by Friday afternoon there would be nothing left.
I have been so darn tired all day that I got little done. Made a trip to the store for some sour cream and green onions for crab salad...$36 later I had 4 bags of things...Pizzas were $7.99 but on sale for $3.88 if you got 3 so I got 3.
I also got some fresh green beans so got them snipped and cooked by 7:45 & had to wait for them to cool some to get them in the fridge. I did manage to sample a little bowl of them!
No sewing got done today again!
Have a good night!
