Bet- Dan just snowblowed out the end of the driveway. Brian and DGS came earlier and did some. It has warmed up a a bit and all the snow has come off the roof so we are buried again! LOL Right now we are getting a mix of rain ad snow. Hope it melts off the rest if the snow.
I made a spice cake to use up some ingredients I had. Used up 2 half blocks of cream cheese for the frosting. I used up the last of the pecans and raisins I had so it really tastes good. We had trout and tater tots for supper. Using up freezer stuff. LOL And we each had a big ole piece of the cake!

Chris, it quit storming here about 3 I think. It warned up to 33° and my driveway and hill being blacktop were warm to begin so when the plow guy came in and plowed it was wet ans slushy underneath so in the morning my hill is going to all ice. I didn't get only about 3' of the walk done and quit. I really need to go to work tomorrow but I need to get power back or I can't get the car out of the garage. It is a huge outage and there is no listed time for restoration. I have been up since 4 so I am about ready to collapse into bed. These late spring stores are much worse than a good 3' snow storm in the middle of winter.

The car checked out great so hopefully we will get everything settled next week. I'm excited!
Roast beef was very good on a chilly blustery day. Mashed potatoes, rolls, and a big salad of leaf lettuce with carrots, cucumbers (for me), red onions (for DH), and bacon bits was good too.

Bet- I agree! Would prefer to see these in the middle of winter not the beginning of spring. Our pine tree that Brian planted from a twig 34 years ago just came down! What a mess our back yard is and the neighbors as it hit both yards. Lots of work tomorrow!
We will have to get someone out here tomorrow to cut the rest of it down. It is still snowing here big fat wet flakes with rain mixed in.
Elza- Good for you and that car!

Glad the car has checked out OK - exciting.
Chris and Bet - sorry to see that you got hit badly by the storm. Here it turned out to by a lot of hype about nothing. Most of what we did get was rain but what snow fell has all melted 🫠 .
