Our weather today is almost like Camelot. It waited until after sundown to rain. While we were pretty breezy a lot of the day, there was also plenty of sunshine. Not bad. Things went well at the museum today. We managed to keep busy and relocate a bunch of stuff to another building on the complex site. There was so much that was boxed up sitting in the basement that could have been on display in one of the other buildings. One of the volunteers found really old dollhouse furniture and accessories. The main building has a "toy" room that would be perfect for those items. It felt good to get that stuff to a place where it could be appreciated. When I got home, I was treated to some entertainment by a chickadee that enjoyed snitching a sunflower seed and flying off to hide it some place for later snacking. It did that for a good 15 minutes before the house sparrows ruined the fun. At least now I know that the chickadees know I have food for them. They've been rather scarce. I also did a little bit of transplanting. It's going to be close, but I believe I have enough flats and space for everything I am growing. I am encountering a bit of a problem, though. I'm growing multiple varieties of zinnias that I would like to keep separated, but that is going to be difficult given how few things I have left to transplant which could be used to separate the varieties. I'll think of something - and hopefully not duplicate this little issue next year. The way I have things separated MIGHT allow me to move some cell packs around, but maybe not. Guess it is a good problem to have? Well, I need to go clean up the kitchen and put away the chicken. It was the right thing to do this morning in starting the chicken so early. That made the rest of the meal easy to throw together. Hope the day was good to everyone! G'night.

As planned,we went to youngest DBs for his birthday supper Other DB is getting around pretty good with just a cane now. The little Gr. nephews & niece were there. Always good to see them. The "baby" will be 10mo old on Sunday.
We were under a tornado watch from 3:30 - 7:30, but all went well. Not even a storm & the sun put in an appearance just before setting.
Speaking of weather, looks like I get a free weather station. The seller never contacted me or refunded my money & the item arrived today. I contacted WM & they are making the refund. I asked what to do about the item & they said it was mine to keep, donate or throw away. So, I'm keeping it. I feel a little guilty about that but not too guilty.
And youngest DB said he will come cut the stump roots off on Friday, weather permitting. I'm REALLY happy about that He got a new WORX rechargeable chain saw & I think he wants to try it out.
Good night
