Avery is 9 months old already. I have only seen her twice. Sarah wanted to bring her over a few weeks ago but it didn't work out as Judy was in ICU and it was not a good time for me.

Well I managed to post three! Had to do it from my tablet.
Yesterday I baked a picnic ham told you about it I think. Then I took care of it all and have three full quart bags frozen and broth for bean soup. Also ham saved for that. Then I made a big ham, broccoli, two cheese quich with cream and 5 eggs. Turned out great if I do say so myself. All evidence of ham taken care of. I say that because I suspected that Dave would bring me Easter dinner today, made by his wife. I did not want to make her feel bad knowing I have so much ham! Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.
Sure enough, she sent two of those compartment trays with, lots of ham, scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, green onions, pickled beets, bread and butter pickles, deviled eggs, black olives, a big bag of ham bones a tub of juices, omg! I served the quich for lunch, hoping Dave would not notice the ham in there! HELD MY BREATH. PIECES WERE TINY ENUFF THAT HE DID NOT NOTICE! There will be lots of ham lunches coming up that I will hope he does not ask 'granny, where did all the ham comaybeme from". Lol.
Carolyn,Hoping you continue feeling better.you are so lucky to see that little boy so often. One year old already! Mary, about your son in law. He needs to appreciate you MORE! I Sure wish now that I knew what I had when I had her!. I hope she is where she knows how much I miss her!. Maybe tomorrow I will post some food pictures. Lol

My book is calling me!

Today was a day of misty drizzle...not much moisture in it. I waited for DGD to come by and at 11:50 told DH "Well, I guess Taylor is not coming". He said she already came at 8 Am but you were sleeping! Well, how do you like that! I had some things to ask her and to ask if she wanted...guess that will have to wait. Needless to say I got started sewing quilt blocks late and 3 were messed up so had to redo them...final count was only 12 got done! Grrrrr!
I used the leftover ham & fresh fruit from yesterday is a ham & noodle casserole and made some fruit salad with whipped cream and instant vanilla pudding. I had to make a run up to the hospital to pay a bill from last year. I waited to see if they ever posted my check from mid February but the bank confirmed it had been cashed.
Lair, that was smart to call 911...here it would be too buys to do that. Nice folks who had time to chat with you! You will miss Brody for along time...just like family because dogs are family.
Hello to everyone else. Hope I sleep better than last night as tomorrow is a VA day!
