good morning!! The sun is coming out for a few hours, then rain about 7pm, of course it will be cloudy for most of the day. Its 38 and the high is to be 47, and we have been below normal now for over a week. But one good thing March didn't go out like a lion. Today is store day, then would like to do a few things outside before the rain moves in. Then I will take it as it comes.
Yesterday was a great day with family, couldn't been more perfect. Everyone was in a good mood and we talked and laughed a lot. Plus we all over ate, lots of food and dessert. Hazel and Levin (Gages girlfriend boy) played outside for a short time with Lori, as she had to feed the horses.
Lair, Thinking of you this morning.
Thats it for now.

Good morning, It is a nice morning, not cold at all but cloudy and I think rain may be coming tomorrow. I'm still coughing during the night, but During the day I seem to be doing some better. I went to the baby's birthday party yesterday and it was good. Lots of food lots of gifts for him. that he wasn't interested in until it was time to go But what a wonderful day for a wonderful little Boy. Hope everyone had a good day and is feeling good. I actually got up and stripped my bed washing Sheets. I figure it's time to wash the germs away. From all of the coughing. Have one more bill to pay so I will get that Taken care of. You all have a wonderful day. Be back later

I have tried posting from my tablet, with no luck. But I did see the picture, I clicked on the link and got the picture, a young lady and baby, right? When I post pictures from the computer all I get now is the link. One of these days I will be smarter. Good luck.
Carolyn, How fun a birthday party. Glad you are feeling somewhat better.
I best get moving not even dressed yet.

Our first morning of April, no fooling! Today we have heavy overcast skies and I have the lights on just to see what I am doing. I did all my bedding yesterday so that is clean and I have the bed made and the cats fed plus I have my compression sox on. I, out of habit, checked the back door a few times and nobody wants in. I imagine I will do that for a few days. The cats are very aware things are different. I did pick up most of Brody's things and they are out of sight. Yesterday was a day I will never forget because of several people. After Brody died I was so upset I thought of talking to someone. I remembered there was a phone number for people who needed to talk to someone. I could not remember the number so I called 911. The gal there didn't know the number either but said she had some time and wanted to talk. We must have talked a half hour before I got it together. I got off the phone and started on little projects I wanted to get done around the house. I had told her I didn't want to drag my sister down because she had a house full of her family trying to enjoy Easter. It wasn't long before I got a call from Dale. We talked a while and then the door bell rang. It was the police. I went out on the porch and asked how I could help him. A real nice guy about 30. He was in the call center when I had called in and heard my story. He explained he had just lost his dog of 15 years over Labor day. Having a soft heart he came to my house to help me with some words. He was here a long time, after almost an hour he got a call and went back to work. I found out later the girl at 911 knew Charlene and had called her, then she called Dale, I guess she also had something to do with the policeman stopping by. Anyway they were all so nice and consoling. I do have to thank all of you on the board for your warm and tender words. Today I am thinking about making a cake for me. That will take up a lot of my time. Also the 2 grandsons from next door are coming over and we will do a little funeral. Mary inMI, I clicked on the website and I saw the picture of the gal and her baby in matching dresses. Thanks again and have a great day. Later...

Good morning. 45, and that's about it for today. Cloudy, and chance of a shower later on today.
PT today, instead of Tuesday. Will be on Friday, as I have an ultrasound on Thursday.
Hope you all have a good day.

Another cloudy and dark day with only a quick peek at the sun now and then temp. Hope there is no more rain heading this way. We need to dry out so the grass mowing can get started. Temp is 47 and only going to the low 50s today. Yesterday was a good day with the family and good food also.
Lair so glad you were able to talk to some understanding people who understood your grief. Lots of good people waiting to help if we only reach out to them. Cake sounds good maybe all us Mid westerners should stop by your house for cake and coffee today. What time will the cake be ready to cut. I'll bring my own plate so you have no dishes to wash!
M/M I clicked on the link and was able to see the lovely picture of the mom and baby.
Carol March left like a lamb so maybe we get some nice weather soon!
Carolyn hope you are getting better now. You can't miss too many days of seeing the little one!
Nothing very exciting going on here today just the usual messy things to be picked up and put away then read my book.

APRIL FOOLS! The jokes on us. It started to sprinkle just as we were going to the vehicle, and it has been rain or sprinkling ever since.
We had a pretty laid back couple of days. Hudson and Brylie colored eggs Saturday night when we got back from supper. Easter Bunny way over did but the kids were happy.
I could tell Valerie was aching, but tried to keep up a cheerful appearance. She had said one of her meds causes joint pain, and it was getting worse. Otherwise, she looked good for what she's been through so far. She still has plenty of hair. I asked no questions, she was telling her dad some stuff and stopped when I walked up, so gonna have to find out what's up. Her husband had an issue with me asking her things, so I said basically nothing while they were there. Sad I know, but we talk when she calls or texts me.
Lair, I'm so glad you called 911. What a blessing that response was. We all know and understand the things you're feeling right now. Brody's spirit will make it's presence known. I felt my cat's tail brush my leg numerous times after she passed, and I thought I saw her out of the corner of my eye.
Well, this typing as we drive is becoming more error correction, so I'll check back in when we get home. The rain has stopped or maybe we're just ahead of it now.

Good morning everyone. Carol, glad you had such a nice day with your family. Lots of good food. A very untraditional day for us. Just took it as it came. All good. Keyscar, sounds like you are on the road to recovery. Rain coming later on in the week for us too, I hope. Lair, I am so sorry to about Brody. However, it warms my heart how many people have rallied around you. The perks of living in a small town. That would never happen where I live. Keeping yourself busy should help. I know it’s helped me get through bad times. MaryinM, looking forward to seeing the photos. Leroy, hope all goes well at PT today. GrammyO, always lots of messy things to pickup around here too. Good to have a nice visit with family. Bwatcher, sounds like you had a nice visit. I guess you’re on your way home now. How long a drive is it? The very first Easter when there hasn’t been a large gathering. Times change. Just the two of us. Very unconventional Easter meal too. Ham. Scalloped potatoes, nope, discovered at the last minute I had the wrong kind of potato, so new potatoes scrubbed and steamed. Mashed rutabaga, a first, yummy, but didn’t realize how long they take to cook. We ate a bit later. Thought we’d be feeling a little down this day, but we both discovered that the biggest disappointment of the day was no scalloped potatoes with the ham. So, all in all, a good day. Tomorrow DH wants to go to Vernon,, maybe Salmon Arm if I’m not too tired. Said it was going to be my (Jan’s)day. Might not be on here tomorrow as we leave fairly early. Jan

We've been home for 2 hrs. I had to get on the computer and get to our on-line banking. I got the checkbook balanced, and then wrote a check out for hubby's trailer and truck licenses. The trailer is due today or a penalty tomorrow. The truck was due May 1; this will save a second trip. I got plants all watered upstairs and down, turned some around, my bag unpacked, came here to the computer again to delete all the junk mail in my email account. Now, I can chill for a minute. I just ate one of my sugared molasses cookies from Kwik Star. I got a pack of 4 when we stopped to get gas, breakfast sandwiches, and drinks before we left on Saturday morning. I didn't want to waste an hour sitting in the cafe waiting for food when we could be on the road. We waited until Brylie left on the school bus before we came home. Her bus stops right beside their house. Talk about convenient. Julie signed in for her work but came up to say good-bye. When we left, Bryan was then going to take Hudson to daycare, and he had to go into the office today. Brylie and Hudson colored 2 doz. eggs. They were fresh eggs, so the peeling to make deviled eggs, for Sunday dinner, was a bit of a challenge. Thank God for spoons! If you didn't know, a spoon works really well getting inside an egg shell to follow the curve of the egg and getting it out without destroying the whites. Julie turned the peeling over to me as she had already destroyed 2 eggs. LOL, I told her, "How do you think I know this trick? I had this same issue." Yeah, that towel got a bath in about 4 tipped over cups of dye before it was all done. The neck pillows are for the Make-A-Wish plane trip to California in June for Hudson's 5th birthday. Their first stop is Lego Land, then San Diego Zoo, and a harbor cruise. It's a nine day trip with a rental car also. Kinda funny, yesterday we were out on their back deck which has a really long step down to the ground. Later, I saw a gray bunny leaving their back deck and it headed down that long set of stairs. A rabbit did spend the winter on their back deck, and chewed a few holes in the covers on their deck furniture. Jan, When we go to Bryan's house it takes 3.5-4 hours, depending on how many times we stop for bathroom breaks, or food stops. Valerie's house is 4-4.5 hours depending on breaks. MaryinMi, I could see the picture. Two beautiful ladies! Leroy, I hope you're getting more success with that leg. I read that about the streaker the other day, and my first thought went to 'someone high on opioids', and then they also do stupid things like streak. Well, I better get busy here.
