Good morning! It's another freezing start to the day. It's not going to warm up much today, but it will be partly sunny. Egg salad with veggies was delicious last night. Tonight we are having sausage, peppers, and onions with some whole grain Italian bread. Will go to walkaerobics and Curtis this morning. No other plans at this time, but I'm sure I'll be able to keep busy! Enjoy your morning! Waving!

Good morning Ann and all who follow. A cold start at home this morning as it is just 27 but will warm up nicely to close to 50. In MB it is just 39 and should reach the low 60s. Time to think about packing up as we're leaving on Wednesday morning. A little bit of organising this morning and then golf this afternoon, probably with supper out tonight. That's it for today. Wishing you all a great day.

Good morning -- I can see the sun coming up from my window and although there are some clouds, I think we'll have a mostly sunny day.
After staying at home all day Saturday, I was out and about on Sunday. After church, I came home for a quick lunch and then out again to a funeral for a friend from church. He was 92 years old and such a dear person. After the service, at his request, cake and ice cream were served and that was lovely. Then I made a stop at Sam's on my way home. Did a load of laundry and by 8:00 I was ready to go to bed and read for a while.
This morning I have to be at work at 8:15 for our weekly meeting, and then afterwards an appointment at 3:30. We are selling a car to Carmax and both have to be there. Anyway, hopefully that won't take long and then we can head back home.
If DH doesn't want to stop somewhere to eat, I'll pull something easy out of the freezer.
Chris, love your snow-blowing outfit!
Ann, I know you will find something to keep you busy.
Tasty, enjoy your last few beach days.

Hello to all! Today is International Waffle Day, National Loster Newburg Day and National Pecan Day.
Tasty, enjoy your last few days in MB. Glad you can get out once again to play golf.
Chris, hope you'll have a great week at work. Does spring break start next week in your area? Bet your DGS is really looking forward to his vacation time at Wolf Lodge.
Elza, we never sold a car to CarMax, but know of several people that did. We went the opposite way---we purchased a car from them for DD when she began college. It was a nice experience and here's hoping your time with them is just as good.
Ann, thanks once again for starting us off in the morning. I'm sure with the moving date drawing closer, there is plenty to do, even if they are small things.
Nothing exciting happening here today. Dinner this evening will be sauerkraut and sausage. Waving, take care, friends. Lori

Good morning. I was 16°here this morning and sunny. To be in the mid 44's for a high. That should help get rid of snow. I have been texting my boss already before 8 this morning and I am on strike again. I got up this morning to make my final decision what I was going to do this morning and was so angry with their darn program that we have to work on. It is mostly human error. Errors in the instructions or question in the program. Don't think who ever is putting them in ever reads what the type. This morning the frosting on the cake was I had a late notice on a job that affects my employee rating. It was a job I had done on Friday and had submitted it. Management knew about it but why let the employees know it was an error on their part. So I am officially on strike. I am sure he gets tired of text from me but I am tire of not getting answers to things I don't understand and programing problems on their end. OK enough of the job.
I have already been out to the shop and turned up the heat and am going to go out and work on my plants. I have already cleaned up the kitchen and the dishwasher is running and the birds are fed. I have all my seed boxes out and am going to sit here in the sun and go through them and see what I want to plant and what I should have ordered 2 months ago. I will get the rack set up for seed starting.
Ann, I am sure you will find plenty to do with your packing etc.
Tasty enjoy your last couple of day of your vacation. Weather here looks pretty good for your trip home. I could never go on vacation for 2 months. A couple of nights is about all I can handle and can't wait to get back home.
Chris, loved the snow blowing suit yesterday. I bet it was nice and warm. I am sure DGS is anxious to be going on the trip with you and Dan. Another busy week of teaching. Hope the classes are a good group. It seems from what you have posted for the most part they are a good group of kids.
Elza, good luck with the meeting about the car. Have never dealt with anything like that. The last car I got I got from the dealership that DS worked for at the time and all I did was walk in and sign the papers and drive away.
Need to keep moving. Have to go to DD's late this afternoon and pick up some beef bones to make stock. I have some in the freezer but I am out of stock so with use these and can what I make.
Have a great day.

Good morning! I could celebrate any one of those days, Lori, if I could only chew them! Chris, I'm glad to see that the dino is good for more than just sashaying around town! The lady who mans our reception desk showed me a picture she took on the way into work this morning. I thought you would enjoy seeing the aftermath of our 12 in. but, of course, these piles were from the plow. She took the chance of being late because she just couldn't pass it up. This was shot on the grounds of the rehab. Have a good day, all. Birdy

Good morning Birdy. Great picture. I know that look only too well. If I had been plowed rather than snow blowing my yard would look the same plus I still have some pretty good snowbanks from the 3 times I was plowed this winter. I am wondering if it will ever go away. Yesterday morning the moon through the trees when I got up was beautiful as well as last night coming up on the opposite side of the house. Unfortunately I over slept this morning and it was daylight when I got up.

Good morning everyone. Ann, cold here right now too. It’s 6:30 and 29*F, supposed to go up to 55*F later in the day. Also predicting rain. Hope so but we’ll see. Tasty, vacation is nearly over. Sounds like you’ve had a good time while there. Safe travels home. Soon back to reality and the canning group. Chris, another week of work. Hope the snow has stopped and the roads are ok for driving today. Emr, an early start to the day for you. Hope the day goes smoothly and you’re home at a decent time. Lori, none of those foods are on our menu for today. A rerun of last night’s potato salad, made way to much, have more than half left. Will have with chicken strips and an other veggie, to be decided. Bet, so sorry you are having this trouble with work again. Must be frustrating that they don’t reply to your questions. I’d probably have quit by now. Birdy, love the picture. Sure hope that’s the end of the snow though. Enough is enough. Have to run out and do a bit of shopping. Need a new cover for my iPad, hope I can find one. Other than that, nothing new here. Jan

Here is an oddity I thought you would enjoy. It came to me from the president of our Bird Club. The bird was spotted in a small town between Rochester and buffalo on the shore of Lake Ontario. It is a clearly marked bilateral gynandromorph cardinal, with a vertical dividing line between its right side (female plumage) and its left side (male plumage). A pretty mixedup bird. It is rare but not unheard of. From what was posted, this happens more often in chickens. Pretty cool isn't it? Birdy

Good morning.
It is a chillier morning than we have had the last couple days. It was back to winter coat weather in the morning today. Warm and windy again today so I won't be cleaning off the porch yet.
I've been busy setting up my home for pictures tomorrow and open house on Thursday. I have quite a bit in the back of the house that Mark has out there and it all needs to be tossed. But it is way too heavy for me to lift onto the golf cart or into the dumpster. Some of his tools will have to stay. Too good to throw and not sure what I would do with most of them. I have packed what I will need or can see for later use. The household items that didn't sell at the porch sale will stay here. Everything else is coming with me, depending on what is left at the place I would buy.
So I'm busy and sore. I'll be needing another massage and have to get to Mexico to the dentist too yet. But I am done stressing, I've put it all in Gods hands, He can do anything I can do nothing without His help.
Wednesday I finally get a haircut. The length of my hair is so very heavy on my head and looks like a dust mop. hehehe Today I will continue setting the house for sale.
Lunch today will be eggs made some way or other, supper will be fried pork steak, baked potato and cooker broccoli. Not very fancy like most of you cook, but I don't like to cook anymore. But I do like to eat.

I woke up late last nite to the sadly familiar sound of heavy rain and hail banging across the house. I don't see any damage but it is a reminder that we're in that season now. It did rain again this morning but is now 72 and sunny. Birdy, I love that picture of the beautiful orange and white cardinal. Didn't know there was such a thing as a half and half bird. I'm planning a smoked pork chop and hashbrown/onion fry-up for supper tonite. Enjoy the rest of the day. Hugs

My stomach is growling, I am going to make myself some soup.

Weebill, the park was ok, but the park model needed too much work. I can't do the work myself anymore so it would have cost me dearly. No money for that either.

Good evening. I am just getting here to read again. As usual my day didn't go as planned. I did get out to the shop to work a bit on plants. I did get some plants dumped that had to go. Then I hooked up to the outside faucet and got everything watered plus filled all of the 5 gallon buckets. By the time I got that done I was soaked so came in and changed and warmed up. I also got started on sorting me seed to see what I want to but got nothing done in here setting up for seed starting. I did make it to DD's and picked up the beef bones and have one batch in the oven roasting before I boil them for the stock.
What messed up my day however was an email I received this morning. We have 3 guests coming to the April Lions meeting as speakers. I found out today that one needs a gluten free diet. I was planning on Chicken Divan which I could make on serving Gluten free with out much trouble. However I wasn't happen with the recipe I tried last night so am still up in the air about what I am doing with the Turkey and I don't want to do Tetrazzini as that would be an extra expense to buy gluten free pasta just for on serving. Therefore I spent way to long on the internet reading gluten free recipes. Still no decision what I will be making and I really wanted to start shopping sales for what I need this week. Why do people have to complicate my life. It is getting late and I don't have dinner started yet so no responding to today's conversations.
Enjoy your evening.
