Hi! Maybe it's because of the Ides of March, but everything is super slow this morning. It's rainy but warm out there. Our weekly grocery shopping will be wet! Not much on my list so maybe I'll keep the cost low. Instead of fried noodles last night, I baked some 'pastizzi' I got at Aldi...puff pastry nuggets stuffed with ricotta and tomatoes. Yummy! Tonight we will have semi-homemade pizza with fresh mozzarella, mushrooms, peppers & onions, and pepperoni. Enjoy your morning! Waving!

Good morning. It is 37°here this morning and has been raining. We are to get into the high 40's and hopefully the rain is about done for the day. Still no more progress on reclaiming some more stuff from the old email account. Had things back up and running last night but have already messed it up this morning so an rebuilding the computer again. Hopefully it work this time. At least I now have the directions to fix the last time it didn't rebuild unless it decides to have a different ailment this time.
Nothing planned for today but work. It may be a very long day since I didn't work again yesterday and I can't work this weekend as we have the Chocolate Bunny sale that I am in charge of. I have to set up at 10 tomorrow morning and then at 10:30 on Sunday plus I have to work a shift I think from 1:30 to 3:30 Sunday.
Ann, sorry you had computer problems this morning. Hope everything is OK now. Happy shopping and try to stay dry. My shopping this week was tooth paste, Tpaper and a green cabbage on sale for $.39 a pound. That is a $.50 savings from the normal price.
Have a great day.
Bet

Good morning all. It's still dark this morning but one or 2 eager beavers are already out getting their early morning exercise! The birds are just starting to break the silence out there. About 60 here now and we'll climb up to the mid 70s but we could well have cloud cover for a chunk of the day. At home the day is starting out in the mid 40s and will climb to the mid 50s - nice for this time of year. Golfing this afternoon and I should probably get some laundry done this morning. Don't like to let it pile up while we're here. Happy shopping Ann. Good luck keeping the grocery bill low! Bet and Chris, hope the working day goes well. Have a fabulous Friday 🌞.

Hey everybody --
I had to change my dinner plans for last night when I realized that when power was turned off to the heat/air systems, the power to the stove got turned off too. I just let it go and made us some Zatarain's dirty rice in the microwave and we were fine. We were also thankful that since we didn't have working heat or air last night, it was a very mild one with a low temp of about 57! Looks like rain and maybe thunderstorms today but hopefully that will not keep them from finishing up this afternoon.
Ann, you find the coolest stuff at Aldi! I need to make a run either this weekend or early next week.
Chris, hope your day goes well and everybody behaves.
Bet, I am always impressed at your patience in dealing with computers. You always manage to get done what needs to be done -- kudos to you.
Tasty, hope you have a good time golfing and enjoying the nice weather.
Belated happy anniversary wishes to Chris & Dan and to Elaine & Bruce!
I need to get the 2nd cup of coffee and then start on my Friday morning cleaning ~

Hello and good morning to all! Today is National Peanut Butter Lovers Day and National Pears Helene Day.
So tired last night that I fell asleep in the Lazy Boy chair and that is right where a I stayed until 6 this morning. DH just now got up an hour and a half later. I will let him enjoy a cup of coffee before we head over to the Amish Farm market and Publix. When I get home, I must get busy in the kitchen today. Going to put together a new dressing for coleslaw which we'll have with fish and maybe a few sweet potato fries tonight.
DD was going to drive over with Lilith after work today, but instead after work must go get her windshield replaced in her car. She got up yesterday and it looks like somebody took a baseball bat to it. Her apartment complex doesn't have cameras, so can't prove it, but thinks she knows who did it. Anyway, if all goes well, they'll drive over Saturday and go back on Sunday (if not, we'll make a run over there). Lilith has asked Grandma for "cupcakes with sprinkles", so Grandma wants to bake those as well today.
Bet, you're probably off to work already---praying the day goes quickly and smooth for you.
Tasty, I'm sure you'll be heading back home shortly and your time in MB is limited, so I hope you and hubby can enjoy the golf course this afternoon.
Chris, have a good day at school.
Ann, thanks for starting us off. Those pastizzi sounds different. Will need to see if I can find those at Aldi on my next visit.
(((Birdy)))
DH is off to dress and then put the cooler into the truck, so I better get moving myself. Waving to everyone. Lori

Elza, glad it was a simple fix for your dinner plans last night without power to the stove. Nice that the temperatures were mild last evening, and you didn't have to worry about that. Enjoy your Friday. Lori

Good morning.
Cloudy, no wind, and a chilly 51º. From what I read it won't get much warmer than 67º again. What else can I bake? LOL
No plans for today other than finish my Easter cards and get them in the mail. I need to put something on the inside of the cards, that's the hardest for me to come up with.
Lori, how nice to see that you got soon good sleep, even if it was in the recliner. Don't forget to bake those sparkly cupcakes. :)
Elza, it's nice to have the microwave isn't it? What did we ever do without it? hehehe
Ann, try and dodge between the raindrops so you don't melt.
Bet, enjoy your days off. But I know they don't pay the bills.
Tasty, you really enjoy golf don't you. Have fun.
Now I'm thinking I better add dust mop the floors to my to do list. Guess I don't like an empty list.
Lunch will be left over pizza and supper will be...........

Mamma, what more can I ask than fresh air, friendship and exercise? I've played for over 40 years. My best game is long gone but I still enjoy the benefits that come with it. Missed it when I couldn’t play last summer.

Good Afternoon ! It is great to read a note from Birdy about here successful procedure.
Have a wonderful weekend with family, Lori.
Elza, how exciting to plan a trip to Europe. There are a few places I would love to go back to. Really cannot believe we lived there about 40 years ago.
Bet, hope all the jobs go well and quickly for you.
Mamma, I copied your cinnamon roll cookie recipe. I made some a long time ago and liked them. Marge loved cookies and her memorial service is Tuesday morning so I thought I'd bake cookies in her honor. I had no clue where my copy was so I was happy to see you posted a recipe.
Chris, hope the day went well for you. Enjoy the time off.
Ann, those pastizzi sound good. Aldi is a long ways away from me though.
Tasty, you have really taken advantage of golfing while here. That's great.
We were busy at the shop today. We are so full-shelves are overflowing as well as the racks!
The health fair has made about $60,000.00! Several donation of $10,000.00 plus really helped out with that total. The Care center is getting a new roof.
No cooking tonight. I baked a chocolate pecan ooey gooey butter cake to take tonight, so we will just eat snacks at the Bible study. Cindy- a friend from church is riding with us.
No rain so far today but I think it is predicted to start around 7 p.m.
Waving to anyone not mentioned. Have a super weekend!

Hello there, friends! After what should have been a 2-day trip but ended up being a 11-day tour of the Metro Atlanta area, our envelope finally made its way to the front porch of our accountant in Gainesville, Ga. I couldn't be happier as if it didn't arrive by today, DH was ready to go north with a search party! OMG, DH was so upset, his blood pressure was up! I was watching the WSB-TV News from Atlanta earlier today and I felt so badly for a lady that mailed out some legal papers on February 27th and it still hasn't made it to its destination. What a mess.
Got the cupcakes done for Lilith this afternoon. I kept out and decorated 6 of them; froze the remaining 8 for another time. While at the store this morning, we purchased her a few treats and will make her a small Easter basket for our next visit with her on the 30th.
I have about 70 more pages in a book I've been reading forever, so I'm going to close now and try to get it done once and for all. Goodnight, sleep well one and all! Lori
