Hello, Just got home from the shop where it was a pretty good day. Next, a short nap then off to the catfish dinner and listen to the speaker tonight.
Happy anniversary to those celebrating!
It was predicted we would have rain but actually had a sunny afternoon. Maybe rain tomorrow.
Bet, I am going to post a recipe for a dry salad dressing mix. I saw it in a cookbook and thought of you since you do so much homemade.
Waving!!

Just another quick run through hoping we might know something more on Birdy.
Chris and Dan, a Happy 43rd Anniversary to you both! Hope it is an especially nice day no matter how you choose to celebrate it!
Elaine, forgive me, but is today also Bruce and your anniversary? Somehow, I thought it was a week or two ago, then I thought I read that it was today, or tomorrow? I said it several weeks ago, but I'll gladly say it again, a very Happy and Special Anniversary to you both!
tm, not a single time I speak with not only my DB, but DD, DGD do I pass up the chance to tell them how much I love them. Life is short and you never know what the next day may bring, so we always end our calls with I love you. I'm really so very sorry your dear brothers are no longer alive for you to tell them so, but I'm sure they know just how much you loved them and miss them.
Bet, glad you were able to get what you wanted done pretty much with your computers. Be careful on the roads tomorrow when to head to and from work.
Well, after Costco, we dropped off our goodies and then went over to Aldi. Since we got back, DH went to donate blood and I had to ride my bike as well as do some laundry. Just finished making a side spinach salad for each of us to have with the leftover Roasted Red Pepper Chicken and mashed potatoes. I guess we'll celebrate Pi Day with a small slice of Key Lime Pie. Plans are to wrap and freeze the remainder tomorrow. We really do love Key Lime anything, but it's just too big to enjoy by ourselves. Plans are to take it with us next month when we visit our vacation club at Disney since DD, along with a GF and Lilith will join us for a few days.
Need to work on my menu and grocery list (items I couldn't get today). Waving to each of you and wishing you a peaceful and relaxing evening. Lori

Good evening. Just a hello and goodbye. I should have gone to work today. I wouldn't be as tired as I am right now. I have not left this computer. Did a lot of Lions work but worst of all I managed to crash my second computer that all it would do is turn on and off. I was resetting it back to factory install and the program crashed. It was what you might call the dumbest computer in the world. I spent most of the day researching what to do. I did finally find the answer and with a number of tries I finally got it right so am just loading the software I need for the email on and that will be it for tonight. It seems like one foot forward and 2 back.
I just put the lasagna in the oven to warm up. Have a green salad made and with make some garlic bread when the lasagna is done.
Chris and Dan Happy Anniversary.
Elaine, enjoy yoyr Anniversary dinner tonight.
Enjoy your evening

We went to Hopsewee Plantation this morning and had a lovely time. A very interesting guide who gave us the facts but made it fun as well. The house itself is really not that big (OK, probably bigger than most/maybe even all of us live in)but so, so nice. Cosy sized rooms, all nicely furnished. It was at one time a major rice plantation and another claim to fame, it was the birthplace of Thomas Lynch Jr, one of the signatories of the Declaration of Independence. Our booking for lunch never made it to the tea room. However, when we were told this, there were several empty tables so we didn't just turn and leave. They did ask if we would be able to return one day next week instead for lunch to which we said no. Eventually after much hmmming etc, we were shown to a table. I guess they wanted to keep us happy as all the staff stopped by the table while we ate to make sure that we were happy. Lunch was really nice and as we were leaving they gave us a goody bag to bring home with us.
Well worth going to!

Hubby decided he would like apple pie tonight as it is pi day, so we had dessert - a rarity for us. I'm not a pie lover but have to admit, it was good.
