G'day! It's 42° and partly cloudy. Not sure what the day will bring at this point. We will go to the senior center. Dinner last night was great. I sautéed the bologna with some 'lamb' seasoning - no salt, Turkish oregano, rosemary, cumin, celery, sweet paprika, black pepper, onion, garlic, mint, and ginger. T'was good! Tonight we are having pork/turkey meatloaf from the freezer, sautéed noodles, and green beans. Thinking of Birdy! Prayers for success! Enjoy your morning! Waving!

Thinking of our Birdy today. I pray all goes well and you will be eating like a human soon! LOL Ahhh Fried Chicken here she comes!
Ann- I used to eat fried bologna when I lived in Kentucky.
Dan wants to go out to eat tonight as it is our 43rd Anniversary. I am not sure. I think I would like to just stay home after work. I will see what I feel like at 4pm. I have enough leftover pork stew for another meal. Today I work in Culinary and tomorrow I am split between Information Technology and Industrial trades. All next week I am Criminal Justice.

Good morning. This might be the last spring like day at home as the forecast is saying that winter is going to return. However it is a foggy 34 right now and headed up to 54 with some sun. Here in MB, that is where we are starting and we'll climb to mid 70s. No golf today. Instead we are headed to one of the many plantations around for a history lesson. This is not much more than 20 miles but promises to be an interesting day.
Birdy, thinking of you this morning. The college is keeping you busy Chris, happy anniversary to you and Dan. I'm sure you will fill your day somehow Ann. Waving to all 👋.

Good morning, and Happy Pi Day! DH & I had leftover chicken pot pie last night, so I'm gonna count that as celebrating. 😊
Our new HVAC install begins today so they will be here all day and half a day tomorrow. I am so glad to be getting this done while the weather is nice (upper 70s today!). I think I mentioned we bought our tickets for Rome, and then yesterday looked at a car that we might be interested in. It feels like we are spending all the money right now, but these are all things that have been on the radar. It's just a lot in a short time!
Well, I slept late this morning so need to run get ready for work. The road construction I mentioned that was down the road from our branch, was right in front of our branch yesterday -- fortunately, a coworker told me a back way to get around it. Although she said I'll have to take it slow as there are lots of potholes on that road. Adventures every day!
Pork tenderloin for dinner tonight with a salad and whatever else I find in the pantry.
Saying a prayer for Birdy this morning -- hope all goes well.

A quick hello to all. My DB and DSIL were here approx. 21 hours---short and sweet. Yesterday we ate lunch at Millie's and dinner at the Anna Maria Oyster Bar. This morning we ate breakfast at Yoder's, where before he left he bought us a Key Lime pie for Pi Day. DH and I need to run over to Costco and pick up a few items. Will try to make it back here later. Thinking of and saying a prayer for our dear friend, Birdy. Lori

Good morning. It was 35°here this morning and going to high 50's again today. Hopefully it will get rid of some more of this snow. Just passing through. I didn't go to work today will finish the week up tomorrow. Looks like a long day but I really have a lot to get done around here since I was bad and worked on the computers all day yesterday but have almost recoverd everything I want One more project and hope I have it all. Have been working on it again early this morning but am rebuilding the computer to start over. It is a trial and error project. I do have a bit more Lions work that has to get done before Saturday and emails for Monday's meeting has to go out along with minutes. It seems never ending.
Have spend way too much time playing on the computer. Will come back later and address everyone.
Thinking of Birdy this morning. I hope by now her procedure is most over and she will be back at home soon.
Have a great day.

Good morning everyone. Birdie…you are in my thoughts and prayers today. Hope all goes well for you. Ann, is that lamb seasoning a mix that you made yourself or is it something you buy? The combo of herbs sound delicious. Chris, Happy Anniversary to you and Dan. Boy, do you ever have a busy few days ahead of you. Interesting subjects. What kind of a school is it? Tasty, a fun day for sure. Would love to visit a plantation. Love hearing about history. Emr, HVAC, Rome trip and a new car? Seems things pile up all at once during don’t they? Perhaps you’ll be all set, no more big expenses for a while. Lori, nice you had an enjoyable visit with your brother and his wife. We plan on going to o Costco tomorrow morning, first thing, as soon as they open. No idea what’s for supper, but we did pick up a blueberry pie at Swann Lake, on the way home from Kelowna on Tuesday. Does that count? Our dear friends are coming into town for some shopping, they will drop in for coffee this afternoon. Looking forward to that. Bbl. Jan

Good morning. Its verwindy. Milly and I only walked around the block. I'm not taking Coco for a walk. i need to take Cici to the dog park at 8, but i bet i dont stay a half hour, that sand will be blowing around. This wind is really hard on my eyes with no tears.
Praying that we hear good news from Birdy.
Chris- happy anniversaryto you and Dan. We are going out for our anniversary tomorrow night for prime rib and crab legs( at least me).
Millie goes home today. She did sleep at the foot of the bed last night. She doesn't sit in laps and we dont have a couch so when she wants a pet she stands beside our chairs.
Elza- lots of new items but the best is the ticket to Rome.
We are having pi-day at the clubhouse this afternoon. I am bringing a frozen key lime pie. I will be having a different kind, this is Dh choice to bring.
Tasty- it sounds like a fun and interesting day.
Jean- I love pie also.
Lori- sorry the visit was short but sounds like you got alot of eating and visiting in.You guys must also like key lime pie.
Jan- you just reminded me I never took a thing out for supper.last night 8 went in freezer to get something out and I took the frozen pie out, lol.
Bet- hope you get your computer problem fixed.

Good morning. So much for getting out before the wind got so bad. The sustained wind is at 12 and the gusts are already 22mph. The winds will increase throughout the day and the temps will not reach 70. With all the sand in the air the sunrise looks like fire in the horizon. I had my phone, but the wind was so strong I didn't want to stop and take a pic. And of course Mandy didn't do her job. She will have a long wait today to go back outside. She got no treat this morning either. No work, no reward.
The young man who gave me the massage yesterday did a good job, was very nice and I was quite comfortable. Boy could I tell when he hit the knots. Ouch, and there are a lot of them. Next week I'll go for an hour of deep tissue massage. As usual I waited too long to go for help.
Today I plan on making banana bread, and maybe some cupcakes. All or most will go into the freezer. Time to start my summer supply. And on a chilly windy day like today, it seems like the thing to do.
Lunch may just be cold cereal and supper some kind of soup. Right now all I am really concentrating on is my coffee, I'll worry about meals later. LOL Happy Pi Day to all. And to our dear Birdy I wish you a very successful happy day.

Afternoon! Did the Punch & Kick Sansone CD this morning then a really good workout with Curtis. Happy to be sitting at the moment! It's warmed up to 54°, and it should go higher. Jan - The spices I used was a blend from Penzey's. www.penzeys.com/online-catalog/lamb-seasoning/c-24/p-201/pd-s I use it on more than lamb, of course. I just like the spices used. No pie for us today. If I were to choose...apple pie with fresh apples, low sugar (or none) and a cheddar cheese crust. We are more into savory pies...Bill's meat pie, my ratatouille pie, etc. Hoping that Birdy's procedure is over and was successful. Mamma - I saw on FB a picture of 'marbled banana bread' that looked really good! Mail me a piece if you make it!!! LOL www.raveaboutfood.com/2024/03/03/marbled-banana-bread/Chris - Happy Anniversary! Elaine - Happy Anniversary to you tomorrow!!! Bet - The appliances are all there in the unit...full sized flat top electric 5-burner stove, French door fridge with bottom freezer, microwave, full capacity stack washer & dryer, and dishwasher. I'm nervous about the refrigerator...I have a free standing freezer that still has lots of food in it. I may buy a cheap counter freezer. Elza - Exciting that you will have a new AC system. More exciting is your trip to Rome!! Hope it's not too hot for you there!!! Tasty - Enjoy your plantation tour. Have to get a move on. Enjoy the rest of the day. Waving!

G'Day Mates... WOW! just "wow." have we been getting the severe thunderboomers!! In a matter of minutes the wind kicked in and the rain started! So bad and heavy that I could not see across the lake. It lasted all of 10 minutes and stopped. But, it is getting dark again and Alexa just told me that another storm has entered our area. It is supposed to be this way until around 4 this afternoon.
Ann, we used to eat the fried Bologna when we were kids in sandwiches - with cheese and onions. Now, although I will eat it now and then, it is no longer a favorite of mine. We would, also, sometimes have the bologna rings with baked beans. Can't do it!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, Chris. You don't hear of long marriages too much anymore. Out to dinner anytime sounds good to me!! I sometimes miss subbing at the high school - but, when I really think it through...nope. Glad I am a homebody now. Although the college kids are here because they want to be.
Elza, like you, we have everything at once when something hits. Right now we are trying to save a huge pine tree and it will be a huge bill, I am sure. And three other trees need attention, too.
Lori,I am so jealous of you having your brother. All of mine are gone and I do still miss the ones that passed many years ago. Be sure to tell him you love him whenever you talk with him.
Jan, we have a brand spanking new CostCo...second one in our area to be built. Love going to this new one. It is super clean and easy to get around and the parking is well thought out. We are also getting a BJ's. Have never been to one, so don't know what to expect.
Elaine, I just smile when I read about you walking the dogs. My Yorkie is a lazy little guy. We take him out and he walks about 5 minutes then sits up in front of us to pick him up. He is not into it at all. Have you given any more thought about another kitty?
Mamma, glad you liked the massage and that it helped. Sometimes when we wait too long to get the help we need, it causes more problems to erupt and hence harder to take care of. Be prepared to be sore for a day or so with the deep tissue massage.
Lunch is the most difficult meal of the day for me to anticipate. I end up with soup and a sandwich or a sandwich and soup. Not much imagination. Plus, I don't like to cook anymore.....
BIRDY.....hopefully you are finished for the day and everything is looking good!!! I missed part of this scene....when the jaw if rehabbed, will you be able to go back home?
Suns out!! Crazy **** weather!!! Need to take the trash cans in and get the mail. TTYL

Happy Anniversary, Chris! Happy Anniversary, Elaine! ((Birdy))
Had to have my "help desk" back yesterday. DD fixed me (the computer) up again. Until the next time. Add my name to the fried bologna list. I liked it singed around the edges with mustard and pickles. Haven't had one in too long. No sun today though it is 75 degrees. Storms in the forecast later this afternoon. I took pork chops out to thaw last nite but feel like spaghetti for supper now. Not a huge batch this time. Happy Pi day, all! Wish I had some right now. 🍴

Banana bread is done and taste tested. :) the Strawberry cake kind of fell. this oven just doesn't do whole cakes well, or maybe it was me. Oh well, I taste tested a tiny corner and it's still nice and fluffy.
I've had a deep tissue massage before and yes, it does leave a person a bit sore, but it's not as bad as where I am before. As long as it releases the muscle knots, I'll be very happy.
Sorry Chris I forgot to mention. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!
The wind gusts reached over 40 mph now. I hope it settles down some before I need to take Mandy out this afternoon. I can handle 20 but 40 mph is too much. I'll need to dig out the leaf blower this weekend to clear all the sand off of the porch and vehicles. Still easier than snow removal for me.
I really need to get more work done here and less computer.
