Good morning! Yesterday's high temperature of 58° was amazing! Right now it's 35°...very unusual for February. Today we have our Baldwin medical appointments. Those will be in North Andover at Baldwin's 'sister' facility. After that we will drive to Londonderry's Baldwin to meet friends for lunch. Supper last night was delicious. So liking those mashed baked potato with roasted peppers and onions!! Tonight we will have soup if we get hungry. Enjoy your morning! Waving!

Ann, we're warmer than usual for February too -- 53 degrees right now, and into the upper 60s later. Looks like we'll be even warmer tomorrow, but with rain and maybe a thunderstorm. We're getting a taste of "false spring" because it will get cold in March!
Not much going on today, other than stopping at the lab later for some blood work, and then a women's study group at church tonight. Sounds good to me.
Hope it's a good day for everybody!

Good morning. It was 26°here this morning and to be in the 50's today. Yesterday as I drove through town my car thermometer said 50°. My thermometer showed a high of 53°. Tomorrow in the 50's again and Wednesday high of 33°. I need to get out of here soon and I didn't get some things done that I need for work so no time to chat. I hae to be home by 4 PM today to run a Lions Zoom meeting and have a very busy day if I get it all done.
Ann, enjoy your lunch out with friends.
Elza, glad the floaters were nothing. I have a bright metallic rainbow colored zig zag every once in a while. Doesn't last long but drives me nuts while it is happening.
Have a great day.
Bet

Good morning all 🌞. A lovely start to the day again, same temperature as Elza but the likelihood of rain today is very slight. At home, it's starting off noticeably above freezing and will be in the high 50s, but there there will be rain this afternoon - certainly any little patches of snow left lurking in shady corners will vanish. Hope all goes well with your medical today Ann and enjoy lunch with your friends. Good that you got your eyes checked out Elza and everything is good 👍 . Another busy day ahead for you Bet - hope you can get a few days break from work soon. No plans for today as yet- we'll see where the day takes us. Have a terrific Tuesday friends.

Good morning
Out and back home and now coffee and my cookies. It is 60º this morning but no sunshine. Not sure if the sun will show its face today or not. But it is suppose to be windy for part of the day.
Last night I saw that Denny's has their Grand Slam breakfast priced at $5.99 right now. I would like to go, so I asked Jill if she wanted to go along with me. Mary has her brother coming over to help her with some things before they go back to Wisconsin. So I may go by myself. It has been ages since I've eaten out. And I really like Denny's.
The washer is working again this morning. That is pretty much all I have on my to do list too. I'm just too caught up to have much else to do around here. Even my fridge is clean.
Have a terrific Tuesday everyone.

Good Morning. Ann, another step towards your move. Is it May you’re new home will be ready? Emr, scary about those coloured floaters. Never heard of eye migraines. Sure nice to know it’s nothing serious. Tammy, you’d make a good detective. You’ll find your birth father ’s info yet. Lori, been on potassium for many years too. My pills don’t have a coating. I have to eat a banana every day too, my body doesn’t retain potassium, count is still low. Supper was yummy last night. As usual though, nothing planned for tonight’s meal yet. Better put our thinking caps on. Oh, wait, can always have leftovers. Coffee calling. Jan

G'Day Mates! It is cloudy, but warm. Today is supposed to be our last day of kidding around with this warm weather. It is going to go back to freezing with the possibility of snow by Thursday. Thunderstorms are predicted for later this afternoon...then falling temps.
The neighbors are home from their trip and I am done taking care of their fur babies. I miss them.. the kitties are really friendly and lovey.
Ann, I would be really excited about the move you are making.
Migraines can effect any part of the body as well as the whole body at one time. When I had mine a month or so ago, it affected my entire right side and my head and was called a hemiplegic migraine. They are nasty whereever they strike! Elza, I am glad that was all it was.
I have worn NB Runners for years. We used to have a huuuge NB store here and then "POOF" they were gone. I don't particularly like to purchase shoes on line, so will wait until we go to Myrtle Beach to look around.
Mamma, I checked our Denny's and the Grand Slam is on! We are Denny fans also.
Bet, I need some of your energy. Our company is gone and I am still out of energy.
HappyCooker, did you change your mind?? You are welcome here......
Today, DH and I have eye appointments. I have not changed in six years. I am going to get new glasses even if my eyes have not changed...I am ready for a new look!
And the clouds are rolling in.......

Hello and good afternoon, friends! Per the morning news, lots to celebrate today: Protein Day, Strawberry Day, Kahlua Day, and The Big Breakfast Day.
The new mattress is very comfortable, but I couldn't enjoy it. My potassium must be low as I had leg cramps, and my heart was racing. No matter what, I was wide awake, so I just got up and sat in the Lazy Boy where I guess I finally fell asleep listening to my white noise app. Today I started my new potassium pill. Tried to just swallow it, but it's huge, like a horse pill and I ended up gagging. Directions were to dissolve in water and drink if trouble swallowing, so that was the next step. I'm sure it will maybe take a few days to fell completely better, but with just one pill, I do see an improvement. I will still follow doctor's orders and have bloodwork done tomorrow morning most likely.
With my bookcases now having a plastic container wall in front of them, I'm not able to access my cookbooks. DH said he was hungry for Chili Mac and I couldn't get my recipe, so this evening we'll be trying a recipe that Jan in BC posted (in our cookbook) called Newfoundland Goulash. It is different than what I was planning to make, but none the less, it sounds very good.
Ann, hope your medical appointments went well this morning and that you're now enjoying a delicious lunch with friends.
Elza, so happy to read that your flashers aren't anything alarming, just annoying. Is this something that will go away with time or something that could require surgery down the road? Enjoy your study group at church this evening.
Tasty, with the lovely weather you are experiencing, hope you and hubby found something to keep you both busy today.
Bet, hope work is going well today and you make it home in plenty of time for your zoom meeting with the Lions.
mamma, I sure hope you got out to Denny's to enjoy the Grand Slam, if not today, then yet this week. We have a Denny's here in town, and I ate breakfast there once many years ago. The meal wasn't bad, but the service was terrible so haven't been back since.
Jan, did you decide on something for dinner this evening?
happycooker, welcome! I sure hope you'll stop in to post with us.
Elaine, oh my, Yuma temperatures have to be so much better than those back in ND! Temperatures have been warmer than normal in many places for February, and now to have a blizzard hit must be hard to digest. We are going to have a string of 80's starting tomorrow, and along with it will be higher humidity.
Tammy, I hope you find the info. you are looking for on your birth father. The website with the newspapers looks very interesting.
tm, hope you and DH got good reports from the eye doctor. How great is that that your eyes haven't changed in years, but I do understand wanting a new look.
Several of you have asked what DH's BF, Fred, had to say the other evening. It was a rough/hard discussion of how he thinks his time is short, and what he plans to leave DH (all his guns) when he passes. We told him to stop talking like that, he's not going anywhere soon, and instead of DH, leave the guns to his DS or DB. The DS is a sports doctor that lives out of state and not interested in hunting; DB, also living out of state, is in his late 70's and no longer hunts. DH doesn't need more guns; he only takes them out of the safe once a year to hunt back in Michigan. Tomorrow is Fred's out-patient surgery and DH will drop him off at the hospital in the AM and check to see if he's ready to go home when he gets done with work around 2. DH and I will make a quick stop by his home in the evening taking him some soup and a milkshake.
My load of whites just finished drying, so I'm off to fold those. Due to testing at the HS today, lunches are running behind 45 minutes per a quick text from DH. Waving to all and wishing you a lovely day! Lori

I have the migraine aura without a headache, too. I've been getting them for years and I've been told they're pretty common. Mine is a wavy pulsing line that starts at the top left and gradually moves to the bottom right. It takes between 20 and 30 minutes. It's really strange how the time seems to be constant.
We may be getting a record high today and tomorrow. The sun sure looks good!

Instead of eating out today I bought some flowers for the pots out front. DH got the pots last summer and wanted to plant some flowers come winter. Well it never got done. So, even though it's only about 5 months before it gets too hot for them, I finally got flowers planted. Two big geraniums in each pot and a big cluster is alyssum in the front. It looks so pretty. I hope Mark can see them from heaven. I planted the flowers for him. He loved flowers. I didn't need to water much since I was crying the whole time I was planting. Really I also gave them a big drink of water to offset the salty tears. hehehe I'm glad I just have two pots, plants are so expensive this year. OUCH!
The wind is not very nice, out of the west, so some windows have to be closed today or I'll have to shovel dirt out of the house. Even Mandy isn't out there very long at one time. The few jammies that hung on the line dried quickly and are now folded and put away.
Time to rest my back from all the bending and then I'll take Mandy out for a short walk around the block. Not sure I can do much more today.

Can't explain this but it got to 94 degrees yesterday and high will be 83 today. Back to normal 50s tomorrow. DD and I voted yesterday and man it was hot! (weather, not voting) Sorry I couldn't resist. We had a Freddy's cheeseburger for lunch. Very thin and nice and crunchy outside. Really good. Then we came home and she helped me with the dreaded taxes. My accountant went all online and believe me I needed help. Hope there are no glitches. Supper will be stuffed peppers and sliced tomatoes. I had migraines as a teenager but not since, fingers crossed. There really is nothing like them. Hi Birdy! Good to hear from you! Hugs to all
