Yakitori Sauce-Jan in BC 4 tbsp sake 5 tbsp shoyu(soy sauce) 1 tbsp mirin 1 tbsp white granulated sugar Can either heat sauce up a bit to blend flavours, or cook longer to thicken a bit, and brush over the chicken or meat, or cook (usually chicken) in the sauce. A very versatile sauce. Jan edit to add: DH says best to cook it until it thickens to your liking, about 10 mins.
