Cinnamon Cream Cheese Squares-cooktocook
Here is a breakfast or dinnertime treat that can be served either warm or cold. This is an easy and quick sweet treat that goes together in no time at all. Best of all, it is delicious! Lori Ingredients: 2 (8oz.) tubes of refrigerated crescent rolls 1 (8oz.) pkg. of cream cheese, softened 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup butter, melted cinnamon-sugar to taste Directions: 1--Unroll one tube of crescent rolls and arrange in a lightly greased 13"-9" baking pan. Pinch seams together and set aside. 2--In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, vanilla and sugar; spread over rolls in pan.** 3--Top with remaining tube of crescent rolls, pinching together seams. 4--Drizzle melted butter over the top; sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. 5--Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until golden. Cool, cut into squares. The size you cut the squares will depend on the number of serving you get. Notes: After beating together one cream cheese, vanilla, and 1/2 cup sugar, it did not look like it was enough filling, so I doubled this part. Glad I did---doesn't look skimpy between the two layers of crescent rolls.
