Good evening. I have spent the entire afternoon and evening trying to organize files on my phone and get them copied to the flash drive. I ran into a problem copying them to the flash drive that I finally figured out was due to a lack of internal storage space, which I guess it needs just like a computer to hold the copy temporarily. So that had me trying to clean up junk and duplicate files and photos. I practically drained the battery twice today and I'm still not done. I decided I had had enough. I'm on my tablet now and letting the phone charge. I'll get back at it tomorrow. I baked the rest of the chocolate chip cookies but didn't mix up the oatmeal. I put the eggs and butter back in the fridge. Maybe tomorrow. I really need to defrost my chest freezer, or at least get the ice from around the top edge so it will seal better. And I'm going to have to do laundry in the next day or so as well.
We had rain off and on and it's a good thing I have security cameras because my large package from Amazon was left on the ground at the bottom of the steps. I got the notification from the camera app and saw her deliver it. She obviously couldn't take one more step and lean over to put it on the porch. She wouldn't have had to go up any of the steps to do that. The first package was heavier, although not as big, but that driver put it on the porch. In a heavy rain things on the porch get wet but not as much as if they were on the ground.
Melissa, I hope Cooper gets better soon.
Gayle, the facilitator for the support group I went to use to tell us the difference between dementia and normal age related memory problems is that a normal person will forget where they put something, like their car keys, but someone with dementia, of any kind, will look at their car keys in their hand and not know what they were for. Technically they can't definitely diagnose Alzheimers unless they examine a person's brain after death, but they are getting better with testing and scans to see enough for a diagnosis I guess.
Bet, thanks for the reminder of the cardboard covered with foil. I used to do that for cakes and had actually thought about it earlier today. You reminded me to use the cardboard from today's shipment instead of giving the boxes to the cats. They love boxes.
I'll see you all tomorrow.
