Heath Bars-cooktocook
Ingredients: Saltine crackers 1 cup of sugar 2 sticks of butter 12 ounces of chocolate chips nuts*, roughly chopped Directions: 1--Preheat the oven to 400*F. 2--Line a 13X9-inch cookie sheet or cake pan with crackers 3--In a pot, cook the sugar and butter, bringing it to a boil. 4--Boil for 3 minutes and then pour over crackers. 5--Bake at 400* for 5-8 minutes. 6--Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Let melt, then spread evenly. 7--Add roughly chopped nuts on top.* She used roasted almonds (which I really liked) but said walnuts or pecans would work. 8--Cool and refrigerate. Once cooled, break into pieces.
