Chicken tortellini casserole-tasty
1 (9-ounce) package refrigerated tortellini - ravioli was what I had and used 2 cups frozen broccoli, thawed and drained 1 (10-ounce) container refrigerated four cheese Alfredo sauce
1 (10-ounce) package refrigerated grilled chicken breast strips
1/3 cup soft bread crumbs
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Cook the tortellini according to the package directions and drain.
Combine the pasta with the broccoli, sauce, and chicken in a large bowl.
Transfer to a 1-1/2 quart casserole dish and top with the bread crumbs.
Bake at 350 F for 25 to 35 minutes or until the casserole is bubbling and the bread crumbs are browned.
Altho I rarely use prepackaged stuff, this recipe appealed to me (love anything pasta). I did use fresh broccoli cooked just a little, and I used `rotisserie` chicken that I had cooked the other day. I had bought a jar of alfredo sauce a year ago (as we made our way home from South Carolina into a lockdown) and it badly needed to be used.
This turned out well. I made it up early in the afternoon but didn`t cook it until evening. I had used extra sauce but it could have taken a little bit more - maybe the pasta soaked some of it while it sat.
