Small Cake from a Box of Cake Mix 6"-Birdy
One 15.25 ounce box of cake mix will give you about 3 little cakes.
These are the basic directions for making one 6” cake:
1 cup plus 1 tablespoon dry cake mix, any flavor
1 large egg
1/3 cup water
2 1/2 tablespoons flavorless oil, such as Canola
Mix everything with an electric mixer on medium speed for about 1 minute.
Pour into a greased and floured 6”x6” round or square baking pan.
Bake at 350*F for about 25-30 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean. Frost as desired.
