Bet, I had one of the Nonstop begonias come back up. Healthy looking plant but no sign of a bud anywhere.

Bette...Lovely begonia baskets! I spy your sign for deliveries....lol. Melissa...I see many borage blooming in the woods at my friend's house. I thought they were more of a sun plant and it's dense shade where they're blooming. Mary...Very interesting that the tulip farm practices good conservation habits. Gayle...I wish I could help you with your PI problem, but I have no idea what's going on. Karen...So many annuals and perennials giving color to your yard. I love the pale pink rose too. My phlox are starting to give lots of color to my yard....plus add a heavenly scent. ![](https://i.postimg.cc/T3J4xSjX/IMG-3981.jpg) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ One of my favorite phlox ![](https://i.postimg.cc/g0cB2D4L/IMG-3991.jpg) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Thanks Charlene. The begonias are about the only descent flowers I have this year. They however took forever to start this year. Love the phlox. Mine haven't even started to bud yet.

I'm posting from a different browser to see if it makes any difference. This is the Blue River picture that wouldn't load. Hmm, maybe it is Firefox after all. I'll use this browser, at least for picture threads for a few days & see what happens. ![](https://i.postimg.cc/6pQbWgTZ/20230718-105954.jpg)

Mary-Neat pics and interesting info on what else they do when the tulips are done. Gayle-That is beautiful. Karen-Lots of great flowers. That rose is sure pretty. Charlene-I see a few buds forming on my phlox. I need to move my pink as they don’t love where they are (on the hill and they get a lot of blight). The white look a lot better and they are behind the house. My 2nd dahlia from aldis opened. I’m glad this one is behind the house and the big unique double is right by the sidewalk. Its pretty, but nearly as pretty as the other. I had given one to my mom and she got the big double too. ![](https://i.postimg.cc/zBHByxX2/IMG-5165.jpg) In comparison. ![](https://i.postimg.cc/XJPRV5JW/IMG-5025.jpg) ![](https://i.postimg.cc/0jJLrNMw/IMG-5026.jpg)

Charlene, I can see why you really like that phlox. It is very pretty!
I'm glad, Gayle, that you got your lovely white hibiscus to post. Which browser worked?
I like both of your dahlias, Melissa. But if I had to choose between which one to see all the time, the double would be my choice too. Love it! That closeup you got shows neat details.

I have to use Microsoft Edge, my default browser also, when I pay our water bill online. For some reason, the website the city created doesn't like Chrome.

![](https://i.postimg.cc/sg30HC3y/IMG-0195.jpg) At the beginning of the project. You can see at the right of the picture where I was just getting started. Try to ignore the length of the grass and the forest growing in the sidewalk crack. Tomorrow I hope to hit it with some vinegar, dish soap, and salt to see how it likes that on the hottest day of the year. LOL! ![](https://i.postimg.cc/J0c5jtDX/IMG-0198.jpg) All done! It feels so good to be able to say that.

Karen-Nice job. I get the grass in the sidewalk cracks too. I either pull it or use the weed whip to beat it in to submission. Candy Floss Red Cosmo. These blooms are really big, bigger than a coffee cup diameter. ![](https://i.postimg.cc/gjY9gvSV/IMG-5151.jpg)

Thanks for the kind words Bet and Melissa!
Melissa, that is a gorgeous cosmos. I would love to have a bloom that big on any of mine. We usually do either let David hit the grass in the sidewalk with the mower or whack it off, but David hasn't been here and DH is getting antsy about the messy look. I may try to pull it and put some homemade week killer on it.

Karen-Invest in a light weight battery powered weed whip. It will change your life! Lol! I love mine. Easy to use, light, and does a great job. I have the ryobi. My mom has a black and decker and I like mine a lot more as its lighter and easier to operate than hers. You’ll never have to rely on anyone else to do trimming.

My mom has a black and decker and I like mine a lot more as its lighter and easier to operate than hers. You’ll never have to rely on anyone else to do trimming. I need to look into that. Thanks for the suggestion!!! DH is always saying how he hates the electric one we have because he can't handle the spools of wire. Maybe I can find a younger person who doesn't have issues with their hands to take the one we have so I won't feel like I am wasting it. There's nothing wrong with it except it lives with old people with limited skills.😉 ![](https://i.postimg.cc/6qTV0F2X/IMG-0199-3.jpg) Let me see if I can remember everything I snipped for the bouquet - marigold, snapdragon, zinnia, rudbeckia, cosmos, tithonia, annual firmament, May Night salvia, and ageratum. There was a daylily I rescued from the morning glory that was in there, but it wasn't laying the way I wanted in the vase. It has its own space for the little bit of time it will be good. I never cut those as a rule. This time, though, it looked so pitiful laying on the ground getting choked by the morning glory that I couldn't just leave it.
