Good evening,
I was busy all morning/early afternoon but don't ask me what I did,
I tried getting on here a couple times but the angry bear wouldn't let me.
We've been sunny & in the 50s today.
Let's see if I can remember what I've done; Usual morning chores & took Chelsea for a walk.
Emptied the dishwasher & put dishes away.
Made 2 more rum cakes, still need to put the glaze on them. One is for my friend that just got back from NY. I'll be going to go visit & grab lunch with her Wed. The other will probably go in the freezer for later.
Got all the Christmas stuff put away, incl the tree.
Worked on setting up the monthly bills.
Spent a little time messing with the phone. Trying to figure icons out & what apps I want & what I don't. My banking app worked when I first put it on but now it doesn't (tried re-installing with no luck) so got rid of that one & a couple of pre-loaded games that I don't care anything about.
Cleaned windows & the one DB swapped out for me apparently came off the track. (No good deed goes unpunished.) When I was done with it, I couldn't get it to go down or up. Called him & fortunately he was home. He had to play with it a bit but got it working again. It has a couple smears on the outside but I Am Not Touching It.
I asked him when he wanted to come for supper & exchange Christmas gifts. We decided Thur. Then he asked me if I wanted him to bring his GF. What could I say to that other than sure.
And that is what I remember of the day. Work tomorrow.
Charlene, I used to make patchwork quilts. I made one for Mike right before he got married, that he really liked & so did Max. Max asked me to make him one with a fish theme. I did what I could with that. It turned out to not be my best work but it was OK , nice & warm anyway. I saw it on his bed one time & after that it's been stowed away in the closet of the spare BR.
Marlene, sorry about your fall & sore back. I have never been to a Chiropractor in my life. I probably would have ended up at my GP.
I have Blue Jays here but they rarely go the feeder. I have a platform feeder that I put a few p'nuts & a little bit of seed in every morning. That's where I usually see them, unless the squirrels get to it first. They either sit in the nearby Hydrangea tree or on the corner of my neighbor's roof & take turns at that feeder. I did see one on the suet the other day. I also have a platform feeder on the corner of the back fence that & put some seed in. I never see what feeds from there but something does & I suspect probably Blue Jays with an occasional squirrel
Well, fur babies need to be fed & I'm getting hungry myself so going to go do something about that.
Catch ya later.
