Marinated Baked Pork Chops-cooktocook Prep: 15 mins Cook: 1 hour Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients: 1 Tbsp. soy sauce 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. lemon juice 2 Tbsp. brown sugar 2 Tbsp. ketchup 6 pork chops, trimmed
Directions: 1--Preheat oven to 350*F (175*C) 2--In a small bowl thoroughly blend soy sauce, vegetable oil, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, and ketchup. 3--Place pork chops in medium baking dish and spread with 1/2 the sauce. 4--Bake pork chops 30 minutes. Turn chops over; spread with remaining sauce. Continue baking 30 minutes more or until internal temperature of chops has reached 145*F (63*C).
Notes: This is the recipe is as written. My changes are as follows: 1--I used all low-sodium products and olive oil. 2--I tend to dry out chops if I cook then at a higher temperature, so I went low and slow--275*F, covered, for 3 hours. I only did two chops. My chops were thicker, about 1-inch so anything less watch the time. 3--I tripled the sauce ingredients because I wanted to serve some over the chops and over some rice. 4--Moist and fall off the bone tender. Very good flavor.---------------Lori
