1 box yellow butter cake mix (I use Duncan Hines) 1/2 cup white sugar 3/4 cup Wesson Oil (or what you like) 4 eggs (beat slightly before adding to batter) 1 cup sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup pecans 2 Tbsp brown sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon
Mix first 7 ingredients well with electric mixer. Pour half batter in greased/floured bundt pan. Mix 2 Tbsp brown sugar & 1 tsp cinnamon together & sprinkle over batter in pan. Add remaining half cake batter & bake at 350ยบ for about 1 hour. Cool in pan 30 minutes. Now this is the extra I do because I have been making this cake for 50 years. I usually add craisins (dried cranberries), crushed pineapple (little). If batter is a little thick I usually add a little orange juice or pineapple juice. Sometimes the cake will fall in the middle, but when it is turned over to cool it does great. Good luck.

Thanks for sharing the recipe. Are the pecans chopped and are they just muxed into the batter or sprinkled with the brown sugar and cinnamon?
This sounds delicious and I'm anxious to try it.
sorry, I just reread the recipe and see where the nuts are one of the first 7 ingredients, along with the cake mix, etc.
