Rabbit problems??

I have read that Karen and Leroy are both having rabbit problems in their gardens.  I have used the Irish Spring soap before and it works well for keeping them away from their favorite "salad bar."  Irish Spring is highly scented and the stench drives them elsewhere.  I have heard it also works for deer and other animals.

I grate the Irish spring around the border and around some of their favorite plants.  After several rains it needs to be done again, but easy to do.  The internet says to cut it into small ½ chunks and put in a drawstring bag, but I don't have any of those.

I know this advice worked well for Kathy in her boulevard garden that the rabbits were eating and I hope it works for others if you try it.  Dollar tree has Irish Spring soap very cheap!

Ive got to get some Irish Spring! Those masked bandits are here every night. Wonder if it would work for moles. I might even try some on their tunnels! They are plowing the flower beds!

Doesn't work for moles.  Raccoons were taking my bird feeders down & carrying them off.  I started hanging the Irish Spring next to them in a knee hi & no more problems.  It didn't work for the deer though.
