Good Morning!! Another cloudy morning, its 33* going to a high of 37* no sun today. Guess today we are going shopping, just a few stores. I'm hopeing this will be our last trip. Not doing much shopping, just a few things for the family under the tree. I'm guessing the girls will say its going to be at the pole barn again. We will do what the family wants. Yesterday was a busy day, got the credit card all fixed, no late charges, no report, its all good. Had 5 other stops, didn't take long at the store, got home at 3, I was tired. After taking care of the groceries, I got a easy supper and did the dishes. Then did nothing, lazy me.
Kay, glad you are back. Was your back problems from painting? Funny little Birdy doesn't like the snowman. Glad you got the heat fixed, sure need it this time of year.
Lair, I have heard Joe twice this morning, must be a grace period. What do you keep your heat set at? We keeps ours at 68* and sometimes turn it up to 70*.
Leroy, Nice to hear on your 50's just maybe it will reach here. Guess we didn't play those games, as I don't remember them.
Mary, So when do you think the wedding will be, how sad. Gage had a fast test and was told it is as accurate as the longer test. This is funny, I seen your pictures last night, but not this morning, but all so nice. I still have snapdragons blooming. Cute little dog. Looks well behaved.
Connie, Two bags of books gone, now you can buy more. Glad you got the tree up, agree no one coming why put up so much, just more to take care of.
Snow, Ya that book might be worth lots of money. LOL, thats how I see things now.
Guess I will get some coffee.

Good Morning, it is overcast and 30º but should warm up afternoon when the sun comes out. Tomorrow they say 50's but they always change it when the day comes. I didn't do a lot yesterday. The man came and looked at the water problem in the basement. He thinks the pipe from the kitchen sink and the main drain is partially clogged. He is comming today and run a snake in there and that should fix the problem. I worked on the computer yesterday. I made up my budget for the next year month by month. Keeps track of the monthly bills, when they are due and how much along with a line to record the check number. Takes some time but keeps things in order when my mind may not be. I have done this the past few years and it really works keeping track. I also took the screens off a kitchen window and took them in the shower. While they dried I washed the window before putting it all back together. I may do one every day and go the snail pace. Eventually will get them all done. Don't want to do too much or I won't have anything to do tomorrow. I keep my heat at 68º but at 10pm I turn it down to 65º so I sleep better when it is cooler. On cloudy days I may turn it up to 70º, Just feels better in the house. You all have a good day.

Good Morning,
Yep, got the heater in the car fixed and it will be 60 degrees today for my grocery pickup!
Finally gave in and asked the lawn guy to finish cutting back the last big flower bed. I was just kidding myself that I was going to be able to do it. Yes, Carol, thats what I get for doing the forbidden painting! I don't understand why they couldn't have forbidden scrubbing the floor or washing windows.
I'm off to the post office. I swear the hours down there just keep getting shorter and shorter
Everybody have a safe day

30 here this morning. Don't have to get out today that I know of, at least I hope not. My car only has 1300 miles. Want to get a snow and ice protector for the windshield. Don't have a garage, would be nice. I am doing laundry. Carol, so you weren't born when when Pearl Harbor happened? I wasn't either but born the next year on Christmas. Now, you know my age. I made one batch of fudge and gave some to my niece who is going to leave today for Florida. They are moving to Florida. Panama Beach area. But, I sure hated for them to leave. Snow, I love the picture with the car and the tree on top. So pretty. My idea of winter time, if only I was young enough to walk in that deep snow. Hope everyone is doing well. I am going to have to move around a bit. My legs are cold. :)

Good morning. 38, going to 58 later. Supposed to partly sunny, but pretty cloudy right now.
Yesterday afternoon, I went out front and bagged up 5 bags of leaves, mostly to get them out of the way for the snow blower, if and when it does snow. We have the one big oak tree out front, and I think it dumped every one of its leaves in my front area - the sidewalk, next to the house, and in the little flower bed in front of the house. I don't think a single one blew into any neighbor's yards!! I have one more bag that I want to fill today, after it warms up.
Got the presents all ordered yesterday. DS#1 sent an email with a list of books for each one, and I was able to find them online. Got DW and Adam's ordered, too. The ones for Alabama will go directly there; that way, I don't have to pay anymore shipping. I think just the one for DGS might come here, but that's alright, as I always stick in a little more anyway. If I managed to get the address changed on his book, then I will just have a small package to send him.
The Christmas cards are on the way. No sooner did the mailman take them, that I got a card from one of the nieces - her return address has a box number instead of a street address, so hopefully, she will still get the card. It's a small town, so the mailman probably knows everybody.
Hope you all have a good day.
Leroy

Good evening. I am tired tonight. Did not sleep last night and got about 1/2 hour nap this afternoon but when I tried later, my DB called from the cemetery...he was trying to locate our maternal grandparents grave. I directed and he found it. Bedtime will be early tonight. I did get the sheets washed before I left this morning and DH dried them and made the bed./
Carol, the friend only borrowed the books but when they come back, i am hopeful that the VA will again be accepting books and they can all go there.

Good Evening, It's been a trying day computerwise. Everything is working great except for my email acct. For whatever reason, this new computer kept requesting a password to log in and when you did that it would says it was wrong. I started out with having all my saved emails and contacts but now I've lost them all on the old and new computers. Luckily I still have these things on my cell phone. No clue how to get it back other than to send all the old email to the new computer. I probably had at least 50-75 emails with recipes that I had sent to myself.
I did have an 8th squirrel come to catch a ride down to squirrel daycare this afternoon.
I still haven't gotten the 2nd slipper done or made the Christmas ornaments for the grands. I'm gonna try to work on the 2nd slipper tonight.
