Butter Tarts-Tasty 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup corn syrup 3 tbs. soft butter 1 egg, beaten 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp. vinegar 1/8 tsp. salt 1/2 cup seedless raisins Combine thoroughly sugar, corn syrup and butter. Add egg, vanilla, vinegar, salt and raisins. Fill tart shells of pastry 2/3 full of mixture. Bake at 425 degrees for about 8 minutes, then lower heat quickly (hold oven door open) to 350 degrees and continue baking until filling is set and pastry baked, about 18 minutes longer.
