Good Morning!! A cloudy start but no rain in the forecast, its 65* going to a high of 75*, 10* cooler then yesterday. Seems like last night I had a few things I want to do today, but I can't think of them now, need to brain storm this. Yesterday I was pretty busy, but the heat slowed me down. I cut out and thinned out my azalea bush, it was getting too big, hauled out that out to the burn pile, picked up all the leaves around it, swept out the garage and the mud room. Pulled weeds and cut down more blooms, never ending job. I also took care of some of the summer deco thats in the yard, been doing that for a few days now. Now comes out the pumpkins, scarecrows, etc.
Kay, no window wells here, the stunk was just walking to get to the bird feeder. If it comes again all the lights will go on, as they don't like lights. I so love chicken pot pie, 1 crust or 2? I like 2 the most.
Lair, You be careful you don't fall out of the chair, while sleeping and watching TV, I tell Ray that all the time. Thats a lot of plants to move in one day.
Leroy, Ninety is pretty hot to be working with cement.
Carolyn, Glad you had a great time and came home with 32 peppers. Yes you did tell me you got a freezer is it full already?
Mary, When are you leaving for Valarie's? Will be a fun time.
Connie, I think we need to get some "My pillow" sheets, pillow, etc. will help us sleep. LOL. I too would enjoy meeting new people, some are so interesting and others have been thru so much.
Well I guess I better put on my thinking cap, so I know what I want to do today, maybe nothing. Have a great Sunday.

Good morning, Hope everyone has a good Sunday. I had planned to go to my Dsis today, but once again talked myself out of it. She lives about 55 miles from me, but the traffic is down right stupid. Carol, I don't have the freezer full. I have a lot of green beans, and broccoli and spinach. Some bacon, and popcorn. :) But, I am thankful for it. I got all of the bell peppers done. Had 4 gallon bags. My son and his family will get those. I have a gallon bag already and I don't use them as much as they do. I do like them raw, in salads and meatloaf. It is 64 and the sun is shining. I have one load of laundry to do today. Tomorrow I am getting a haircut. While out will pay the utility bills, and go to Save a Lot. I want to get some more ground beef to make some spaghetti. When I make things like that, I always give the kids the most of it. I made chili yesterday. It turned out pretty good. I had some with a salad. I am going to go make another cup of coffee. Happy belated birthday Charlene. Hope you had a good one. :)

Good Morning, overcast here and had a couple of sprinkles so far but later it should rain more and be 68ยบ. I will be showering and if it isn't raining bring in a few plants. I got the GH cleaned and a few plants in yesterday. I will need to look around the house and see if I can find where I misplaced my motivation. At this point even looking around sounds like a lot of effort. You all have a good day and stay safe.

Good morning. 59, going to 70. Cloudy, and like Snow, we got a little bit of rain. Going to be cooler from now on.
I made my mushroom yesterday. Wasn't too bad out, and I tried to keep the cement in the shade, so it didn't dry too fast. I put the stem into the cap last night, and put a little cement around it to hold it upright. Checked on it before I went to bed, all looked good. Got up this morning, and it had leaned over to one side. Too dry and hard to get it upright, so will have to leave it. I'm still going to use it, looks like something fell on the cap and tipped it. Just have to clean the sand off it, and smooth it and the stem, then I will see about painting it. Going to make another one, now that I know how it works, and looks. Maybe this time, I can keep the stem upright.
The lawn in back needs mowing - hopefully, for the last time this fall. Want to be able to rake the leaves up later, and don't want the grass to be too long. The oak leaves are coming down in front - seems like earlier this year. I went out in the afternoon to close the garage door, and there was a man edging the sidewalk. He came up and said the neighbor who mows the front was having his done and paying for mine to be done, too. I will give him a little more money at Christmas. I always give him money in the Christmas card for mowing to help pay for the gas, so I will just slip a little more in.
Hoping you are all having a good day, and maybe getting some rain.
Leroy

Good Morning,
Cloudy and the wind is from the north, so I guess our perfect weather is over. The leaves are just now starting to fall.
Carol, chicken pot pie is all about the crust, so I make it with two. once in awhile I use puff pastry on top.
Connie, going back to the VA will keep you on your toes!
I've got apples on the stove for fried apples, so better check them

Good Afternoon All! I made us breakfast and put peanuts out for the jays and took a pic of the hummers sitting on the feeder together. Then I came in here to the computer and haven't gotten up since. I 'went' to church first and then watched a lot of music videos.
I'm gonna have to sit down with a pencil and a piece of paper to write out questions for Valerie regarding wedding planning details. She's never had to plan anything like this and with only a little over 2 months it's gonna be a crunch to plan. I told her she needs to make a list of 'gotta get it done NOW, Can't Wait'--In 2 wks-etc. She's planning for 30 or less so not as critical as a huge wedding but still needs to come together as she's gonna be dealing with the Christmas party season. Not sure if it will be a ZOOM wedding or a link to a wedding video. She wants to have two receptions next summer for down there and up here so she also has to get things booked for next summer now.
Carol, We're leaving tomorrow morning sometime for the 4 hr. drive down to her place. Her fitting appt. is at 4, so if we can get there by 1 we could still go to Hobby Lobby or some place like that and look at silk flowers to use for her wedding. I made and still have my bouquet from my wedding. I should dig it out and see what it looks like; probably faded after 40 years.
Well, I need to get up off this chair and move.

Good afternoon. I should be outside cutting back but I am inside sitting on behind...Lair if you find that ambition and there are leftover, please send them my way. We got a smidge of rain this morning...enough to wet the sidewalk. The way it was thundering it sounded promising but did not turn out that way.
We chose not to go to church as I would have to be honest with our seatmate and tell her we 'might' have been exposed to Covid virus but she would freak out over it so for her safety, we stayed home today. We both feel fine, no temp and no symptoms. DGD has strep as well as the Covid (per tests).
Kay, fried apples sound good. I made two into country apples like Cracker Barrel has. The hardest part about the VA will be getting up in time to get ready and make it by 8 AM...I have gotten sluggish here of late.
