Good Morning all! It's already 98 and will probably hit !00. I hope my air condition holds and there are no power outages. A little soft constant rain would be nice. It's been over a week since we had any.

Just watered my potted plants on the deck and patio. I couldn't wait to get back inside.

It could be worse. My sympathy goes out to those in Louisiana, Do we have anyone on here from there?

Charlene and Larry, enjoy your town celebration this weekend. I hope the weather co-operates.

Good morning everyone.  I am just stopping by to say hello and wishing you all a great Saturday.  Lots of activity here this morning.  There is a 5 mile walk/run that many are participating in...the runners finished long ago and now the walkers are going by.  I know many of them, so fun talking with them as they walk by.

Good morning everybody.  Hot here too.  It was 84º at 9 this morning.

My French Drain I made for the AC runoff yesterday is not working too well.  The pot fills up & overflows so I still have a mud puddle.  Last night I put a short piece of old hose on it & ran it out into the yard /grass.  That helped but I really don want a water puddle in the yard either.

I decided to pull it out & cut the bottom completely out of the pot, thinking the gravel might be  blocking the holes.  When I did that there was about an inch of water standing in the bottom of the hole.  So looks like it might be a soil problem.  I cut the bottom out anyway & put it back.  I'll ask my DB for suggestions on a better method.

I called him twice yesterday & again this morning & no reply so I got a little worried & called the house phone.  Don't like to do that now as I don't want to disturb SIL if she is resting or sleeping.  To my surprise she answered & sounded pretty good.  She had her 2nd treatment Tues.. Last week she didn't do well, this week she says she feels much better.  She got the Vacuum pump off yesterday & is thrilled about that.  I have some things to do here then I will go see her & talk to DB about the AC.

Want to go weed the pathway down the side of the house.  Like Sandy said it is so bad I can't stand looking at it any longer.   And still have laundry to put away.

Thank you for posting the message from Molly (was that you, Karen?).  Looks like she found her way back just not the right spot.  I see she mentioned password, etc;  We need to let her know if she doesn't log off she won't have to remember those.  Maybe she will come back & read this.

Ann, I don't think the tomatoes at the local produce stands are as good this year either.  The first time I got them I just figured it was a little early but the last ones I got (last week) weren't any better.

Went to the western part of PA today to attend the wedding of my nephew. It was very hot and humid, thank goodness for air conditioning. I am tired from the heat and the drive. It is 2 1/2 hours one way and since I can't take the dog with me I have to go up and back in the same day. Talk you all tomorrow.
