That is a very professional looking job you did Bette. I love the solar lights and the ones I get now seem to last longer. I have lots of them all around the sides and back yard. Too bad I do not sit out at night to enjoy them more. The latest is a string of dragonflies that change colors and they are hanging from a shepherds hook over a potted plant. They stay on until daylight. My friend sent them for Christmas & I stuck them in the closet. Found them about a month ago-what a nice surprise they were.

Wow you have some great ideas and your projects really turned out well. I love the idea of using the solar lights.
Not long ago I bought some outdoor solar gutter LED lights, they are water resistant and with our rainy weather that’s important here. My front yard and backyard are not really large and I needed some additional lights there. The lights just attach to the gutter system so first put them in the front and loved the light they gave by the sidewalk so ordered some for the backyard. I just love how they automatically light up at dusk and turn off at dawn.

As Charlene said, I Like That. What a great idea. I have several of the cheap ones all around the yard, both front & back. I love them but I never thought about putting them in something.
I did make a lighthouse out of flower pots a couple years ago & used a solar light as the "lantern" It looked good enough that somebody stole it while I was gone for a few days. And I'm looking at some solar lights used as fence post caps. My brother has them on the tops of all his deck posts at the new house . They look really good. The deal is the more you buy, the less they cost & he wants more so he is supposed to order more for himself & add 4 for me. Someday
BTW, I leave my lights out year round.

Gayle, I liked my solar lights in the front yard so well I ordered 6 for the backyard. Only had the ones in the backyard up a few days and someone stole one. They had to really want it as it was attached to one of the rain gutter and the gates were locked so they had to crawl over the fence to get it; I have no idea how they got it down. A couple of nights before that they stole a motion light from off the patio.

What a great project Bette. You sure are a gal of many talents. That lamp looks like something purchased at an expensive garden shop.
