Thanks to my neighbor I have completed one more yard project This has been a fun project. I bought the chandelier about 8 years ago at a garage sale for $5. Have always wanted to something with it for yard art. This year I have been into solar lighting big time so bought 2 little solar lights for $1 each. Tore the chandelier apart and adapted it so the lights would fit. My neighbor helped me set the pipe in concrete and built the top that the chandelier sits in. He brought me the top today so got it all together. Can't wait to see it lite up tonight. Bet

Looks very nice. Did you buy the lights that have the timer in them? I LOVE the solar lights and have so many inside and outside in the landscape.

Very nice, Bet! I keep talking about getting a tall light like yours near the driveway but so far, just talk! Mind you, mine won't be as reasonably priced as yours is. Good job!

Bette....That is so clever. You obviously are a lady of many talents. I can just see this in winter with a dusting of snow on it and some greenery and a bow. From previous pictures you have posted, I know you get more than a dusting of snow. Thanks for sharing.

Looks great! I've had several items through the years that I planned to turn into yard pieces but never did. You did a great job.

I like that! Maybe here I could use solar lights if they were inside a fixture like that. Otherwise with all of the wind and dust, I have to clean the photo cells daily so they can charge...kind of a pain. Looks good, Bette. Charlene

Thanks for all the nice comments. I just walked up the hill to see what it looks like after dark and I am real pleased. Also got 2 more of the little brown jugs fulled with sand and the lights in them. They are on the back deck. Yep that is what my dinning room table looks like most of the time. Charlene, I have a solar light at the top of the hill in one of the old cement culverts that I usually plant in. It is one of those cheap solar lights. I took a glass gallon gar, painted the inside with white paint and it sits over the light. Worked out great. I need to get one more done. I think I also posted this one before. It changes colors red, green and blue.
