Trash Can Snack Mix-emr
1 (12-14 oz.) box Golden Grahams 1 (12-14 oz.) box Crispix 1 (12-14 oz.) box Cracklin' Oat Bran 1 (12 oz.) can mixed nuts 1 (8-1/2 oz) pkg. pretzel chips (I used a 16 oz bag of Pretzel Thins, or you could just use regular mini pretzels) Combine in large plastic bag; set aside. Mix together: 1 cup butter (2 sticks), melted 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 Tbsp. seasoned salt Pour into bag and shake till well coated. Divide into 2 large roasting pans. Bake at 225 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.
NOTES: I don't remember where I got this, but it is good, and it makes a lot. I was not able to find 12-14 oz. boxes of cereal, the ones I had were larger. So I just used the bag from the Cracklin' Oat Bran to measure the other cereals so the amounts would be equivalent. I didn't have nuts so left them out. I really do mix this up in a clean 13-gallon trash bag -- I don't have anything else big enough, and it's always worked well. I only have one large roasting pan so I bake it in 2 batches, and spread it out on a large baking sheet covered with parchment paper instead of paper towels.
Makes 8 quarts
