I have a problem with the board that I have been on with support most of the afternoon. I would ask that as many as possible go to another thread and copy at least 10 lines from another thread and past it to this thread. Do it as many times from different threads that you have time for.
Thanks.

PS you don't need to go through all the posts just hit reply at the top of my original post.
Thanks

Very nice, Wendy! It looks like it was fun to put together.

I have a few Daffodils starting to open. Maybe by this weekend there will be something worth taking a picture of.

link directly to an image hosted elsewhere, you'll first need to get the direct URL to the image you want to embed within your post. Direct URL's will end with the file format of the image, such as .jpg, .png, .gif, and etc. Often times you can locate the direct URL of an image from the share options when viewing the image on the hosting service. An example of a direct image URL would be something like: i.imgur.com/tHtwFXm.gif Once you have the direct URL of an image you would like to insert into a post, click the Reply button to an existing thread on the forum, or create a new thread to bring up the posting page. On the posting page click on the image button found in the toolbar directly above the message area. Once clicked a pop-up window will display asking you for the Image URL, along with the Alt Text. Paste in the direct URL for the image you want to share within your post into the box provided for the Image URL option. The text you enter in the Alt Text field is what will display in your post any time the image itself is unable to load, either because the visitor has images disabled in their web browser or if your image hosting provider is having technical issues and is unable to load the image. Once you have the Image URL and Alt Text filled out, click on the Insert Image button found at the bottom of the pop-up window and you should see a reference to your image appe Read more: thegardenersshed.proboards.com/thread/28/adding-picture#ixzz6ELScYem2

Feb 16, 2020 at 7:15am QuoteEditlikePost Options Post by mnwildflowers on Feb 16, 2020 at 7:15am Good morning. A colder day today than yesterday. -9 at home, 0 at moms. High in the mid teens. It was 34 yesterday so about half that today. I doubt I will go snowshoeing today but maybe if theres no wind. It was windy out there yesterday but I was sheltered in the woods so I didn’t wear a hat, jacket, or gloves, just a sweatshirt and snow pants. It was really nice out there.
I did paint the stairs yesterday. It wasn’t too bad but hard on the legs and back being bent over the whole time. It looks so much better tho as the old paint had some chips out of it and the new color is richer. I also went in the garage and dug around in the rafters. I found a table I knew mom had had but she wasn’t sure where it had ended up. I also found 2 silverware trays from my grandmas. I scrubbed those really well then refinished the top of the table. The day went pretty fast and I kept busy.
Not sure what my plans for today will be. Ds is heading out right now to move in to his rental house. Dh is meeting him up there to help. I think ds2 and dd2 are both going with as well.
Wishing everyone a great day.

Good morning. I've been up but mostly searching on newspapers to see if I can find anything else while it's free. Church later then game night at church late this afternoon.
Had a good visit with sons yesterday and a delicious brunch at the restaurant where oldest son works. It was so busy we had to sit at the bar but it was worth it. Afterwards we walked across to a hospice thrift store. I bought a pair of jeans for $2 that could not have been worn much if at all. I had been needing some new jeans. Then we hung out for a while at oldest son's house with his family until my sons had to go to work. I decided to head to target to do a little shopping. I was able to pick up a few things on my Alexa list and also a pair of shoes. Then I picked up DGS and we headed home. Didn't get home till around 9.

Good morning everyone. It is 16º and sunny now. Later it is supposed to be 26º and some snow flurries.
Yesterday I went to DSisIL's house and had coffee with her and her DD who is staying with her for a couple of days. They asked me to go with them to talk with the funeral director, so while in that town I picked up a few groceries. When I got home I watered plants and did a few other things around here. I got a call late afternoon to come back to DSisIL's house to help write the obituary. There were lots of family members there. I was asked to eat with them as people were already bringing food. By time I got home I was ready to settle in for the evening and was in bed by 10.
I am not sure what my plans are for today. I should do some extra cleaning in case I have company for the weekend. Roger's funeral is Friday and Saturday is Luke's baptism.
Melissa...I am guessing your rafter finds are for DS?? So...the walk through passed inspection...yay.
Leslie...How did DGS find a GF so far away? You probably wish he'd find one closer, but at least you got to spend some time with your sons. Good buy on those jeans. Most gently used jeans in thrift stores here are usually $5, but I still think that is reasonable.
Wishing everyone a nice Sunday. Charlene

Yesterday's lunch with my cousins went well. It always feels so comforting to me to spend time with my extended family that I don't see very often. Two of my cousins expressed interest in having their DNA done if I'd help them with the rest of it all. Heck, YEAH! I will definitely be willing to do the legwork for their DNA testing. One of the cousins said she wanted to give me "the family Bible" because she didn't feel her house had the right temperature conditions for it and she thought of me as the family historian and keeper of such things. It was in her car but she forgot to give it to me when we left the restaurant. We were deep in conversation and it completely slipped our minds. I can't wait to get my hands on that Bible. I am not sure what she means by "the family Bible". It could be one that belonged to her parents, or it could be one that my uncle inherited from our grandparents. Either way, I REALLY want that Bible now that I know it could end up with me. It was a small group of us that met. DB didn't make it up. I didn't actually figure he would. No one from two other branches of the family came so it was just me and DH along with my cousins Kathy and Sarah. Kathy's two DD's came also, one with her DH and DD. We had a very good time because we were all very comfortable with one another and able to discuss things we may not have been under other circumstances. The small group was very nice. Sarah kind of put this thing together and is thinking that maybe the next time we do this we can travel a bit south so one of our other cousins and her DD can make it, as well as maybe my DB. We'll see.

We were below freezing overnight but right now in the low 50s with a hazy kind of sunshine.
I've been to Food Lion for dog food, & found some potting soil in Family Dollar for $1.00 a bag. Good enough for what I want.
Also went to the library & stopped by to see my SIL. She is looking better than the last 2 times I saw her. She & DB had just finished b'fst & she was straightening up the kitchen.
When I got home, I watered everything in the GH & re-sowed some Texas Star Hibiscus. (the 1st ones didn't germinate Leslie, so trying again.)
No plans for the rest of the day.
Only working 3 days next week but way too much on my schedule to get done in 3 days. Just sent my DM an e-mail letting her know what was going on & that I would do as much as I could in the next 3 days.

“There is no better time to get involved because we are facing a bird emergency,” stressed the co-sponsor organization. “In a study published by the journal Science last fall, scientists revealed a decline of more than one in four birds in the United States and Canada since 1970— 3 billion birds gone.
“In addition to these steep declines, Audubon scientists projected a grim future for birds in Survival by Degrees, a report showing nearly two-thirds of North America’s bird species could disappear due to climate change.
“Birds from around the world are facing similar challenges and declines. Counting birds for science is one simple action that individuals can take to protect birds and the places where they live.”
The GBBC, which runs through Monday, February 17, asks volunteers around the world to count the birds they see in at least 15 minutes of watching on one or more days of the count and then enter checklists of their observations at the GBBC website.
“To understand where birds are and how their numbers are changing, we need everybody’s help,” said the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Marshall Iliff, a leader of the eBird program which collects the GBBC data. “Without this information, scientists will not have enough data to show where bi

Good Morning, A cold, windy morning, no snow yet but its coming in a little later. Today we are going to friends house for Jerry birthday, we usually don't go, but Marica invited us twice, so I feel we should go. First comes a Estate sale unless Ray forgets about it. I have a few things to do before leaving. Yesterday was a good day with Ray, not many stops and the traffic wasn't too bad for a Friday. One of our stops was a Estate sale, nice stuff but way too much money for us, that is how it goes with Estate sales. We did come out with a big container of buttons, we are button poor now, way too many, and not a big seller.
Alice, TV working now, its a pain I know.
Kay, Good Morning!!
Carolyn, I can feel your pain with those lousy beetles. They do love the sun so it will be worst when the sun is shinning on the house. I get them in the fall but not bad the last few years. I would spray the outside of the house with the hose and wash them off. Didn't last long and would be right back on the house. Just keep using your spray and vacuum them up. It got with me, I didn't want to leave the house because of them, would go out and work in the yard, and back in within 10 minutes. It was so nasty.

Good Morning, it is overcast this morning, it is 21º going up to 30 later. Brody has gone out twice already so I guess he thinks it is nicer than yesterday. I woke up in the night and the furnace wasn't running so I knew it had gotten warmer. No sure but I think we will have a few milder days. I should check the forecast. I guess I don't wear my life alert all the time because around the house I am always within 10 feet of a phone. It is when I go down stairs or outside I put it on. I have not been doing that much but I will wear it more. Just need to be careful because when I pick up anything and hold it against me it goes off. Then I have to run and talk to the center so they don't call anyone. The running and answering gets my heart going so fast that is hard on me too. Not sure what I will do today. Maybe wash my bedding if I get in the mood. I hope everyone has a good day and we are all blessed with good health. Snow, sorry about your cute little grandson. Hope they find out what the problem is soon. Mary, it is difficult to deal with a pet death but more still to explain to a child. Carol, good luck with cards today. Enjoy! Alma, hope you are feeling better. Everyone have a wonderful day.

Good morning. DS and I are back from our run this morning. Village Inn, Walgreens, UPS store, Aldi's, Bakers. Sun is shining, and supposed to get into the 40's today an tomorrow.
Treatment was kind of of=dd yesterday. Got fluids first, and a couple of meds, then all at once I felt like I was going to throw up. Got me a bag and tried to a couple times, but didn't. Chemo med was late getting to them, so I was there a long time, along with a couple others. Didn't have any trouble with that med, but was really tired when we got home. Laid down, and slept off and on until 6:30 this morning - up about every half hour with either me or the dog and me, seemed like. Tired now, so may lay down again after bit.
Hope those of you with the sun are enjoying the day, and the rest isn't too bad.

Back in December when I went to wrap presents, I discovered 5 items missing from JC Penney which they graciously replaced...I was so grateful to them for that. Tuesday I was digging in my fabric stash for things to use in the quilt repair and shoved some clothes hangers sideways on the rod and low and behold there next to the fabric were those same missing 5 items. Well, I felt like the biggest fool so today went to Penney's with my receipt and had them ring up those same items and I paid for them again! After $80 paid and feeling like the biggest fool in the world, my conscience is salved and I am right with the world once again until he next time I manage a colossal screw up! The lovely young woman named Marjie and her supervisor were at the register today when I went in and asked for her. After relating my story to her supervisor, she asked me to fill out the survey on the end of my receipt as she said it would mean a lot to Marjie and her career so I said I would be most happy to do that as she certainly deserved the compliments. Gosh absentmindedness is embarrassing! Mea Culpa!
