LOGGING IN

It seems many are having problems logging back in.  Here is some computer advice about message boards.

1) You need to write down EXACTLY what your user name is and EXACTLY what your password is.(put it some where you know where it is if needed)

2) when you do log in...underneath you user name is a tiny empty box with the words "remember me" beside it.  Put a check in that box.  It will remember it correctly for you

3) when you type in your password a box will appear (mine is always in the upper right hand corner and says "do you want google to save this password?"(or it will say Internet explorer or firefox depending on what browser you are using)  Click YES...believe me, they have better memories than all of us...lol

4) It is not necessary to logout when you leave here unless you have to log out to go to another Proboard(and I am not sure if you need to do it then...I'm sure someone will know).  If you follow the steps above and don't logout every time you leave here, you will not have to log in every time. When you need to log in, your computer has all of the info.  Charlene

You do not need to log off to go to another pro boards.  You do however need to put the URL of the other board in the address box.  Since I am admin on 2 boards I just open 2 windows in my browser and go back and forth between them.

I guess I do not understand why so many people log out when it is not necessary.  If they quit logging out, they would not have the problem of logging in?  The trick is to click those 2 remember me things and life is good! Like I said...our puters are better at remembering things than we are.  Charlene
