When I look at all the topics I see some of the topics have a little blue square that ways NEW in it. What is that for? I was thinking it meant I had not read it but turns out my memory isn't as bad as everyone says. I have read it and remember doing so but it still says NEW. Any reason for that?

If there is a new it means a new reply to that thread since you were there last. If you click on the new icon it will take you to the first new post after the last post that you read. You don't have to reply for it to go away but refresh the page for it to go away after reading all the new.
