I have gotten a couple inquiries on how to send a private message.
This is the easiest way for me even though there are a several options.
Click on the “username” of the person you want to send a message to
(either above their avatar or where they have posted)
That takes you to their profile page. In the upper right hand corner, click on “send a message.”
You then get a page with the message box
In the 1st line type something in the subject line as you do when sending an email
Below the subject it shows the name of who you are sending the message to
Below that it says enter user name...ignore that unless you are planning on sending a group message
Then type your message in the message box which looks like a reply box.
After you have typed your message go to the lower right hand corner and click on create message. Done!
The person you have sent the message to will then see a number 1 when he/she is on the board. It is in the blue banner at the very top of the page. To retrieve that message simply click on Messages and it takes you to your mailbox.
