RUM BALLS-tasty
2 c. vanilla wafer, crushed fine 1-1/2 c. confectioners' sugar 1/2 c. walnuts, toasted and chopped fine, or pecans 2 Tblsp. butter, softened 1/4 c. dark rum 1/4 c. light corn syrup
Combine 1 cup of the confectioners' sugar with the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Roll into 1 inch balls. Roll the balls in the remaining 1/2 cup of confectioners' sugar. Place on baking sheet and cover with plastic wrap. Let sit for 48 hours before eating.
Substitute almonds and amaretto for amaretto balls.
