Stuffed Mushrooms-wilderness
½ lb mushroom caps 2 T melted butter 4 T soft butter 1 clove garlic minced 3 T shredded cheese ( Jack or Cheddar) 2 T red wine 1 tsp Worcestershire or soy sauce 1/2 c cracker crumbs
Remove stems and brush caps with melted butter. Mix soft butter garlic and cheese together. Add cheese, wine, Worcestershire sauce and cracker crumbs. Mix well and fill mushrooms. Broil 5” from the broiler 3-5 minutes until bubbly and brown.
I make the filling and keep it in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks and fix just a few when I am in the mood.
