Cream Cheese-how to soften-plantdoctor
I have found the best way to soften an 8 oz block of cream cheese is to place the unwrapped cheese in a microwave safe bowl....microwave on high for 10 seconds....stir it and then microwave another 5 to 10 seconds. Works faster than waiting for it to soften at room temperature or in a bowl of hot water as I often did.
