Holiday Rush Cookies-annrms
Cook time: 10 Min Prep time: 10 Min Serves: approx. 4 dozen
Ingredients
1 box cake mix (your choice of flavor)
1/4 c butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
powdered sugar (I don't use)
Directions
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix together the softened butter and cream cheese. Blend well. Now add your choice of cake mix. Mix well and then roll into 1/2 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake 7 to 10 minutes. Make sure you look at them when it's 7 minutes because they should be just lightly browned on bottom. Remove and place on cooling rack and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
This year, I'm going to stir in chocolate chips, etc. The cake mix with the sprinkles already in the mix is nice, too. I make different flavors...Devil's food, Yellow cake vanilla, lemon...
