Smothered Pork Chops Scalloped Potato Casserole-marjo 6 bnls. pork chops.
2 1/2 T paprika 1 T salt
1 T garlic powder
2 T onion powder 1 T dried oregano
1 T dried Thyme
1 T adobo ( I did not use) 1 lg. onion sliced
2 cloves of mince garlic 4 T butter
1 1/4 c milk
1 can cream of chicken soup 4 cups of potatoes sliced very thin Preheat oven 350* Mix all seasonings together in small bowl and coat chops. Set aside. Butter a 2 qt. baking dish (I used 9x13 pan) Heat a large skillet melt 2 T butter add garlic, then add in your seasoned chops. Cooked until brown on both sides. Remove and set aside. Add 2 T of butter to skillet and add onions, cook until soft. Add condensed soup to cooked onions and gradually stir in milk, set aside. Slice potatoes and place in even layer in prepared dish. Place cooked pork chops on
top of potatoes, then pour soup mixture over the chops. cover and bake 350* for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake 40 minutes more.
