Rhubarb Cake-plantdoctor
2 c. flour 1 tsp cinnamon 1¼ c. sugar ¼ tsp allspice ½ c. shortening 2 eggs 1 tsp baking soda ½ c. milk 2 c. cut up rhubarb
Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Stir in dry ingredients and mix in rhubarb. Pour into greased and floured 9X13 cake pan. Before baking spread topping over cake batter and pat gently in.
Topping: ½ c flour, ½ c. brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 4 Tbsp butter
