Good evening,
We were warm again today. I was inside most of the day but I know we were mid 80s. The store did not have their AC on but had the door propped open. I worked up a sweat.
Tomorrow is supposed to rain. Maybe if the timing of that works out I can toss down some more grass seed. One half of the front yard is nice & thick green grass. The other half looks totally different & then there's the back yard where most of the damage was done when removing the tree.
Working tomorrow, but the remodeling team did some of the things & was expecting to do (like box up 600 movies)so shouldn't be there long & won't have to work Thur.
I cut the front yard & down one side of the back just before dark tonight. The grass seems to be growing faster this yr. I also spritzed the seedlings in the GH. Even with the doors open, it can get hot in there this time of year.
Charlene, since you agreed to work until thy find somebody; How hard do you think they will look ? That's pretty much what I've been doing for 16 months.
My car/home ins are combined & I pay monthly It has gone up $20 mo. It's renewed every 6 mo so that's $120 until the next renewal in June.
Melissa, the hearing is getting better slowly. It just started improving some Sat. I can hear things I wasn't hearing before, like the car door shutting & the beep of the automatic locks today. Just now I heard my cell signal a new text. I couldn't hear any of that just a couple of days ago. Conversations are still hard though & talking on a phone is nearly impossible. Originally, I was told 2 wks to heal.It didn't even start to heal until then. I was also told the bigger the tear the longer it would take to heal According to the DR, it was a "big ole hole". Her words. How's your neck?
Leslie, I guess several ways to pronounce that name. One would be Ev a nee to sound like Ebony. I kinda like that one. The kittens are adorable. Glad your DIL offered to help find homes for them.
Karen, you are doing a good job with those seedlings. I hope to plant up some containers this weekend. My yard waste goes into the woods. Those that don't have woods nearby have to take it to a landfill. The regular "dump" won't accept it.
I think that's it. If I think of anything else, I'll be back.
